So I uninstalled Dropbox, updated to the latest version, and signed back in. Still did not receive the space. Any other suggestions? Matt - you need to ROM the device back to its initial configuration. Andrea - no, but syncing will stop so you wont be able to add or edit files till you reduce your quota. 

Just link it to the other account and it'll be fine. However, you have to use the FACTORY installed version - so you're going to need to flash the device back to default settings. It does not work if you install/upgrade Dropbox in anyway. 

How did you close Dropbox on your machine Georges? Did you totally and utterly UNLINK Dropbox from it? If not you havent closed it. Closing a web window or logging out via the website will not work if you have installed the desktop client. With 400 million users if this didnt work as described this place would be over ran…

If I email a link to a friend, will that friend also be able to see all the other photos in my account? As long as they are in a DIFFERENT folder they wont see them.

Another article said that Dropbox even knows to somehow only sync the changed portion of the PST file rather than uploading the entire file every time If you copy/replace the file each time then this is correct :)

As has been said smaller plans were trialled and didnt work. If thats what you want to spend use another service, unfortunately. Thankfully thats why you have free market over choice.

Because unfortunately Richard such a feature does not exist. You cannot download albums without work around like Jennifer says. And to put them into another application is something you have to manually do

please build into your system a send receive folder So they know what you are on about, how would you expect this to work? Dropbox wouldn't know they'd received it unless the person communicated they had.

If its working with Dropbox on its own but not with Synology it sounds like an issue with there software - have you tried contacting them for assistance? 

I dont believe you can drag / drop on iPads Faye. You need to use the menu options. 

I dont think you can I'm afraid - Apple lock everything down so you cant do things like that.
