No it won't - as is said quite a few times on the thread. It will just stop syncing and new files or changes until you get yourself back down below quota. 

I have just installed Dropbox on my brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 purchased yesterday That in itself means your device does not qualify I'm afraid - as per the help links within this thread. Devices ONLY QUALIFY if the Dropbox app is pre-installed as a factory installation. It does not qualify if you install it yourself. 

Why not offer a smaller package Lots and lots and LOTS of threads on this. Have a search. Long story short. They lose money. They've tested them more than once. Including again just this year. They lost money. 

Expiration is usually 2 years from activation.

So I uninstalled Dropbox, updated to the latest version, and signed back in. Still did not receive the space. Any other suggestions? Just link it to the other account and it'll be fine. However, you have to use the FACTORY installed version - so you're going to need to flash the device back to default settings. It does not work if you install/upgrade Dropbox in anyway. 

How did you close Dropbox on your machine Georges? Did you totally and utterly UNLINK Dropbox from it? If not you havent closed it. Closing a web window or logging out via the website will not work if you have installed the desktop client. With 400 million users if this didnt work as described this place would be over ran…

As has been said smaller plans were trialled and didnt work. If thats what you want to spend use another service, unfortunately. Thankfully thats why you have free market over choice.

Because unfortunately Richard such a feature does not exist. You cannot download albums without work around like Jennifer says. And to put them into another application is something you have to manually do 

No you cant. Once an account is deleted it is deleted I'm afraid

please build into your system a send receive folder So they know what you are on about, how would you expect this to work? Dropbox wouldn't know they'd received it unless the person communicated they had.
