I dont think you can I'm afraid - Apple lock everything down so you cant do things like that.
-
You cant send direct from Dropbox. You need to download it first
-
David - as already said, you cannot install one. If you have you need to wipe back to factory install to get the space. Simply uninstalling the one from the web doesnt work.
-
You have to use the Preinstalled version of Dropbox. You cant just install one
-
The person sending you the link has done so incorrectly as Rich said. They've sent you a link to their account as if they were logged in. They need to follow www.dropbox.com/help/167 to send people links.

My reasonable price is less than $2.99/m for 2TB So. You want double the current Pro space for 30% of the current price? So, three years to pay $2.99*12*3=$107.64 for a 2TB storage is very reasonable. For a hard drive that does nothing. Yes. But you've totally and utterly missed the fact that your hard drive is a) in one…

I'm afraid Tim that you would need to program it yourself. Unless you are a huge company on the Enterprise offering there is no direct support to create applications from Dropbox.
-
Theres no automated way to do it - you need to do it yourself. However, the drop in quota only stops you uploading more. It won't stop you downloading.
-
Go to Dropbox and delete them. www.dropbox.com/home
-
Think = 2 MB/s is slow It is. But thats up to your ISP and not Dropbox.
-
Just start thinking. Huh?
-
And we are still using a file syncing service rather than a file video hosting one. As Robert has repeatedly said, Dropbox doesnt release roadmaps and if I'm totally honest its not something I can see happening - especially with them recently tightening up on downloads and bandwidth.
-
Sorry, didnt see this reply Ahmed. I'm using Chrome on a Windows 7 machine at work. Thanks for the update post though.
-
I have uploaded folders with sub folders quite successfully now for many years using the web interface (my work doesnt allow install of the software). It works as long as you dont have lots of directories in the folder and a reliable internet connection.

Log a ticket with support www.dropbox.com/support Replies may take a few days, but, can be tracked at http://dropbox.zendesk.com

You may not, however, SOMEBODY or SOMETHING on your machine has. USB / external drive? Network share? Shared Folders? https://help.dropbox.com/security/missing-reappearing-corrupted-files

That isnt an app. That is an add on. That means that from when its added (i.e. now if you bought it) everything deleted will be recoverable for 1 year from deletion. Note, however, it is NOT retroactive. So your 50,200 files would NOT be available with this. But, should be if they were deleted within 30 days via standard…
-
wahooooh! If its saying you need an add on app that is NOT Dropbox!! Dropbox offers free restores within 30 days via the website - note, no app needed. Sounds like you have a virus on your machine.
-
https://help.dropbox.com/security/missing-reappearing-corrupted-files https://help.dropbox.com/security/recover-deleted-files-folders And remember, Dropbox is NOT a replacement for a back up system - no cloud storage ever is. You should ALWAYS have more than one!

You're entitled to your little diva-rants and strops and if us posting here gets you that upset and distressed I'd be asking myself 'why'. On all of your "points" you couldnt be further from the truth. Never mind. Its your loss.
-
We obviously have very differing opinions of interfering. I was trying to offer advice on what is a public forum. Of which, you know, people are allowed to have altering opinions to you. You just seem incapable of accepting that. There is no propaganda. There is no underlying agenda. No other reason than trying to help. I…

Nothing. In fact most of us also pay for Pro accounts. Unfortunately what I'm saying is factually right. There are very very few people complaining about this - hence saying earlier get people to come along and up vote it. Make it an issue. It may not help, nothing may change, but its more likely when its more than just a…
-
No. Its fact. Regardless of how many people dont know this exists its still a good indication of feeling within the product. "Recents" for example had hundreds of posts on it within days of roll out. Therefore its clear to see 'its an issue'. This has had 37 in 17 months (including many double posts).
-
It is so sad to see how many people are annoyed about changes nobody wants, likes or needs and dropbox staff not acknowledging, listening and fixing. Sadly, as annoyed as people are there are still 500 million users of Dropbox who are quite happy with it. Very, very, few posts saying otherwise. I cant see it changing, but,…

data loss could occur only on that device I used this trick or it would affect my whole dropbox cloud storage so that my other devices on which I have dropbox would have data losses too? As Dropbox is linked to all other devices the data loss replicates across the cloud and then all other linked devices. In some cases it…
-
It isnt possible, no.
-
No Moves etc, are handled by your operating system NOT Dropbox
-
Please post on the official thread for this issue. That way things can be investigated properly: Getting error 500? Post here

Note I dont work for Dropbox so its just my understanding, but, this is the info from the Dropbox site https://www.dropbox.com/help/971?path=payments_and_billing Dropbox is not stating that it isnt charging VAT, it is, its just bundled in to the price.
-
I think this may be your issue..... VAT details only need to be added to BUSINESS products (see this guide from KPMG - http://www.kpmg.com/Global/en/IssuesAndInsights/ArticlesPublications/vat-gst-essentials/pages/united-kingdom.aspx#6 ). Dropbox Pro is not, and never has been a 'Business' product. It is intended for Home…
