David - dont use the web interface. Its not designed for large uploads. Grace - upload is totally limited by your own ISPs speeds. Put the files in to the Dropbox folder and leave them making sure in preference you have set upload speeds to DO NOT LIMIT. [This thread is now closed by moderators due to inactivity. If you're…

Then give some support instead of just defending yourself or the ****** Recent feature! Unfortunately I'm sure most people here know my opinions on the shambolic implementation of Recents across Dropbox. I've told anybody I can find in person or online exactly what I feel of it and why its (in my opinion) down right…

403 error means the link you are using is wrong. Usually it appears when clicking on a shared link that you've been given incorrectly.
-
Unlink it at www.dropbox.com/account Uninstall the app Delete the folder
-
Patrick Please read the thread, it was explained exactly how to do this when the post was first made. Paul - you have to reset the password on the account it says you cannot change to as it already exists.... because you need to log in to it and delete it hence resetting password.
-
You need to reset the password on your duplicate account via www.dropbox.com/forgot . Log in to that account Delete it Then go back and change your email from your first account
-
There is. Rich posted a link in August this year.
-
And again... Did you read the link already given?

Debbie - thats an issue you need to speak to iMovie (Apple) and Real about. It isnt anything to do with Dropbox. That means they've not yet fully uploaded Riet. Apple creates 0byte files when you move data around and then fills them up. Dropbox often uploads the 0byte files before they finish uploading. Those 0byte files…

This is not possible John. The only suggestion I have is to increase the zoom on your browser.
-
Ali - there is no video.
-
I cant offer any more advice I'm afraid then. Only thing i can suggest is creating a rule in your email to move them straight to trash.
-
Go to the link I gave, scroll down the page and choose which options you'd like.
-
You can unsubscribe from the various warning emails at https://www.dropbox.com/account
-
As has been said already, you cannot reset it. You need to remove and reinstall the app.

would the rollback work if the folder didnt completely upload online? No it won't - Dropbox cannot restore data that its never seen or had. If you deleted from your Mac though it should be in the trash can.

Try www.dropbox.com/help/400 and www.dropbox.com/help/969 (not directly linked but theory same). Also www.dropbox.com/events And PLEASE DO NOT put emails on a public forum - unless you want scammed. loosing it would result in me failing my international design masters Errr, where are your backups then?!
-
As has already been said I'm afraid you cant.
-
The client will need to be a Business Client to see it, otherwise they cant. Just send then a shared link via www.dropbox.com/help/167 and it will be fine - as long as the Business doesnt disallow them. [This thread is now closed by moderators due to inactivity. If you're experiencing a similar behavior, feel free to start…

To do so will ultimately be suicide for those companies. Keep voting with your feet everyone. I'm not quite sure Microsoft have had any issues with these limits, however, remember it is them imposing this and so it is them you need to move from.
-
No it isnt City, sorry.

Will persons I "unshare" with be notified by email or pop-up notification that they are no longer linked to a folder Pop up. Yes. Email no. The pop up only appears online for a few seconds, however, so they MAY miss it. Note that there is no way to guarantee you'll remove the data from there machine.
-
Not with Dropbox. You could try putting it through some sort of link shortening tool, however.
-
As its something that HP have done on there own (i.e. they built the software etc to do it) I'd suggest speaking to them
-
You can try and change notifications within the Preferences menu of the Dropbox app, but, I'm not sure you can stop full notifications.
-
Thats more than likely where the issue has come from then. I'd suggest unlinking it and if you get an option to do so remove files locally from it (although that maybe a Pro option only).

Dropbox doesnt store files on its servers as editable Frank so its impossible the servers are compromised. Each file is stored in unusable blocks. So a 20mb file is stored in 5 totally independent files. Its only when you download or use them they are 'reconnected'. Something has happened on your machine, or, on a shared…
