For the people now reporting this can you please ensure you log a ticket at http://bit.ly/cm-support with a link to this thread? For replies it may take a few days, but, you can track at http://dropbox.zendesk.com

I think its safe to assume its all uploaded. To be sure why not do a random sample to check random folders and files?
-
Has it finished uploading yet? There will be a slight discrepancy as Mac's count 1gb as 1000 mb's whereas Dropbox counts it (correctly) as 1024 mb's.

1) Because you've misunderstood what Dropbox is - it is NOT a 'cloud based file sharing service'. It is a syncing program. It is designed, and intended, to sync things between devices. If you were baffled by that then you should really have read what you were signing up to first 2) the limit is 10,000 files or 1gb of data…

Just because it says @dropboxmail.com does not mean its come from there. Do you use Outlook for mail? Or in fact any email from a mobile device. When you are asked to input an email you can put in ANYTHING you want. Dead easy to spoof. If the email is asking you to sign in then the email isnt relating to the account you…

The deleted page wouldnt show it I'm afraid (in fact I personally find that page a bit useless!). The page doesnt show 'large deletions'.... helpful eh? Anyway! If you havent seen files go missing and Events (www.dropbox.com/events) isnt showing them I'd assume its a system error. That, or, it was actually an email that…

No. Once the Public folder stops working (March for free users, September for paying) all links to it will fail.

All I can suggest then is to log a ticket at www.dropbox.com/support and ask for assistance. Replies may take a few days (especially with it being the holidays), but, you can track at http://dropbox.zendesk.com

Just thinking, as you cannot see file size online, have you used 10gb of space at www.dropbox.com/account for the files? Have they got a green tick on your computer if you uploaded via the desktop software? What soft of software are they? They arent videos are they that somebody could be accidentally downloading the…
-
Have you checked to see its uploaded fully? The desktop app doesnt show when a file fails, so, if its downloading (and then showing) a 315mb file Dropbox believes that is the full file

Its only using the storage once :) The Photos tab and Albums tabs are just web pages created from your files.

Why are they not uploading? You havent exactly given us much to go on. After you put them in to the Dropbox folder have you given them time? 70gb is a HUGE file and is going to take A LONG TIME to upload. I'd say at least a few days. Mousing over your Dropbox icon on the status bar will tell you what its doing. Please…

Personally Shaun I never use the deleted items list for that exact reason - it also actually does NOT show big deletions which to me makes it a bit useless. Personally I go through my folder structure with the 'show deleted items' turned on as I find it so much easier.
-
It has always been a bit hit and miss if you have large numbers of files in that folder, is that a possibility?
-
The only workaround is www.dropbox.com/help/167, however, all links need to be manually reconfigured
-
It isnt possible to clear notification lists I'm afraid. They will disappear themselves over time
-
Unfortunately the official line is if you want/need more than 1TB you need to use Dropbox for Business. Unfortunately this then comes with a $15/user price tag and a minimum of 5 users.

And the OS.... ?
-
Brill video Joanna, Just to help the team though what OS / browser and versions for both is this on?
-
I dont believe its possible Linn, sorry.
-
You'll need to log a ticket to get a response, however, I suspect the issue is relating to (what looks like) an issue to do with public link certificates.
-
That only happens if they accept it and leave it later on, or reject it initially.
-
Where is the message? If you mean on the client itself (i.e. the software on your computer), no you cannot. Sorry

I dont believe Windows phones yet have the ability to write back to Dropbox, but, thats something you'll need to ask Microsoft as its them who implement the integration to Dropbox
