They cant unless you sent the link to somewhere else - if you are clicking the link yourself remember you can see more as YOU are logged in. To test it put the link in an incognito window.
-
Because they are not in the public folder @"Millenium" - its only that one way of doing it that stopped.

*moves to API area*

Have you tried (or have you already) upgraded to 11.0.2 today?
-
Did Excel update overnight? My iPad is at work so cant check versions.
-
Are you getting any errors etc.? Unfortunately Dropbox is correct. The issue with saving the files is the responsibility of Excel
-
You cannot I'm afraid. The only work around is to use a shared link to distribute the file out and requests to get it back from others.
-
Please follow the advice already given by @"Sanchez". Note, however, that is the account was deleted more than a few weeks ago they are unrecoverable.
-
You need to log a ticket with support I'm afraid then.
-
iOS 11? Which version of Dropbox? I know there are some issues with uploading in iOS11 so it maybe worth logging a ticket at www.dropbox.com/support which you can then track at http://dropbox.zendesk.com
-
Are you using the Dropbox official apps to upload? You using Camera Upload to add the file to Dropbox? If so can you try adding it manually via the + symbol.
-
Have you tried with a browser in incognito mode?
-
You've not answered the question..... we cannot attempt to help if you wont. Dropbox doesnt change the files in anyway so something else is happening. How are you redownloading them? The website at www.dropbox.com/home and shared link etc.
-
How are you uploading and how are you downloading (from where)?
-
Abusive posts removed. However, as a reminder, as have been said previously. SuperUsers are not employees. We are volunteers. To get assistance you MUST log a ticket with support via the methods listed: www.dropbox.com/support to log http://dropbox.zendesk.com to track.
-
We cant even attempt to trouble shoot if you dont mention what you've tried and what you are seeing. Please also note that if you have upgraded to iOS 11 its probably worth starting a new thread about that as its certainly a different issue.
-
Please note, however that refunds are NOT a guarantee - you agreed to the T&C's which stated that when you joined. Refunds are only offered where they legally have to be offered.
-
I stand corrected, something has changed and it is saying I can access it BUT I need an account to view the document and you are informed that I am viewing it. I'm going to do some digging....
-
Anybody with the link cannot view it. Only people authorised to view it can. Remember though that if you view the link on a device you've Dropbox installed on you are automatically logged in and so it will open - as it knows its you. To test it put the link through a device without Dropbox installed at all.
-
You'll need to log a ticket with support and ask for help then I'm afraid: www.dropbox.com/support to do that http://dropbox.zendesk.com to track
-
Try using a different browser or one in incognito mode.
-
Are you a Business user? If so you need to remove licences as per https://www.dropbox.com/help/business/add-licenses-or-space Note that if you are a Business user only the admin can do that and only down to the minimum level of your subscription (i.e. 3 or 5 users)
-
Dropbox itself does not support any NAS set up. QNAP is basically using the API to force itself to work with Dropbox. From what I've read on here its one of those systems that either works superbly without issue or doesnt work at all - and then trying to get support from QNAP is difficult (as Dropbox wont/cant support it).
-
Anjaay follow https://www.dropbox.com/help/business/add-licenses-or-space Note that you can only remove licences down to your minimum subscription level (either three or five)
-
You said you had an app, you didnt say it was Dropbox's own. Samsung are very well known for adding their own versions of the apps which are often bug ridden. Its possible other manufacturers do the same. So, now if its not working we need some info as to WHY it isnt working - whats happening? How you trying to do it etc.
-
To get auto upload to work you'll need to make sure you have a Dropbox app installed on your phone. Have you installed one yet for an app store?
-
As long as you have a new version of the app you can. You tap the big + button, upload photos and then tap on the ones you want it to upload.

mike _. wrote:Sadly the ticket I had open about this issue was closed by Drobox support without informing me or fixing the issue. I only found it it had been closed because I received a " tell us how we did" email, thought that was odd and then checked the status for the ticket. (The " tell us how we did" email didn't say…

Thats **SUPERB** to hear!! Thanks Maple

Can I jump in on this please and say I'd also like to agree and say the removal of the option to hide Recents makes the app, for me, redundant. Its not something I can use in a professional situation now.
