Hi @"rob7c", what error are you getting when editing your PDF files? Are you editing using the mobile app? If you’re using Acrobat to edit, are the files being saved in the Dropbox folder? Are the files potential in a read-only shared folder, or have other read-only permissions applied to them perhaps be the OS? Any info…

Hi @"libertine999", can you see if you can find the selective sync options from here? @"barby", do you want to use selective sync, or to completely unlink your computer from the Dropbox site? If the former check my previous link, otherwise, check here on how to unlink your machine.

Hi there, after you install the Dropbox desktop application and in the advanced settings choose the external drive to hold the folder (once it has been formatted correctly), you have two options. Firstly, you can just have a clean slate, and let the Dropbox app download all the files again from the site. This is the…

Hi there, what version of Linux are you using? Are you not able to apt-get that module?
-
Hi @"faxao", if the app is loading, but you’re getting that error, then there is a possibility that a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router issues that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains. I’d recommend checking those out to see what could be affecting the Dropbox desktop…

Hi again everyone, could you check if you’re running the beta version of the Dropbox desktop app? You can do install our latest stable version by unchecking the box next to "Early releases" here and then redownload the app. Keep me posted with any updates!

On the Smart Sync page, it states the following: “On APFS, the operating system takes snapshots of the file system and available ****** drive space. These snapshots may not update after you've used Smart Sync to set Dropbox files as online only. This means that ****** drive space you freed up with Smart Sync may not be…

Hi there, as the ‘Get Info’ page confirms that Smart Sync is working as it should, you’ll need to contact Apple to see if they can correct this for you, as the Mac OS is itself reporting the incorrect amount, not Dropbox.

For all users in this thread, since it could all be related to Kaspersky, I've merged your threads together here. Try the steps suggested by @"ihill", though we have to mention this is not an official answer from Dropbox, so please be cautious with changing any settings, and that you know what you're doing. If this doesn't…

Hi Sue, I’ve moved your thread here since users have been reporting issues with Kaspersky, along with a possible solution. Regarding your second issue, try an advanced reinstall of the app and in the advanced settings, chose the second ****** drive for the Dropbox folder. Make sure to choose the ‘parent’ folder, for…

Hi there, have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if this fixes any potential issues in the app itself?
-
Hi there, since the Photos app is an Apple app, it’s possible that dragging and dropping no longer ‘exports’ the photos out of the app. Since the photos are stored in a library (aka database) in your Photos app, it can be harder to export them. Could you try exporting them using other steps? I found this article on the…
-
In that case, try an advanced reinstall of the app. This thread is closed due to inactivity. Please feel free to create a new topic here.

Hi there, are you using a virtual machine or remote login by any chance when accessing your device?
-
Hi Andrew, does this same issue occur for all users using Mojave? Is it possible that they have symlinks on their devices? I’d recommend try checking out this article to see if any of those steps help. Let me know how it goes!

Hi @"vb01", what version of Adobe Acrobat are you using? Are you making the annotation edits on the mobile app? Did you export the files from the Dropbox app to Acrobat, or did you open it from Acrobat directly? Are you saving it back to Dropbox? Keep me posted so I can assist further!
-
Hi @"halsdolphin", if your file is in the Dropbox folder, and is syncing to the site, then you can create a link to the file using these steps. If you then wish for the file to render as is (such as an image), you can force it to appear using the raw=1 option. Let me know if you need any further assistance!

Could you check if you’ve disabled notifications from the Dropbox app in the Windows settings? The official site has some steps on how to locate these settings.
-
Are the files being added via the Boxifier app, as in, syncing from other folders? If so, have you tried adding a file to the Dropbox folder directly instead of via Boxifier? Do you get notifications then? If you do, then it’s possible there might be an issue with how Boxifier is linking to the Dropbox folder in some way,…

If moving the folder isn’t working, try doing an advanced reinstall, but this time during the installation choose the advanced settings and choose the EXT4-formatted drive you want the folder to reside on. Then, you can pause syncing immediately, and copy the files over from the old folder to the new folder. You can see…

Hi Diego, could you check if you have all notifications enabled in the Dropbox desktop application?
-
Hi @"rangsridhar", @"annettecam", are you both using the official Gmail app on iOS, or the default iOS Mail app?
-
Hi there, could I ask why you switched the drive to NTFS, while you’re on Linux? Was that drive originally EXT4 before you did the move, and it was still unable to move?
-
Hi there, are you trying to preview HTML files? If so, they won’t be able to preview using shared links, as this has been disabled since 2016 for Basic users. CSS files however should preview as a text file on the Dropbox site. If I’m misunderstanding something, please let me know!

If you’re concerned about the downgraded account, please write to us after logging into that Dropbox account and message the support team directly here.
-
Hi Bruce, you can downgrade your plan here. Please note that you’ll need to follow the instructions to fully downgrade from the trial. If this doesn’t work, check the current plan you’re on, and if it doesn’t state you’re on Dropbox Professional, then most likely you have another account that you setup the trial on, which…
-
Just to check, did you reboot your machine between uninstalling and reinstalling the app? If not, could you try that again to see if this clears the notification option.
-
I'd like to help, but that's not something I can assist with, since it isn’t related to a Dropbox product. I’m sure there are some tutorials out there that can help shed light on what you need to make it work.

You're right of course, @"Rich", I forgot that Raspberry doesn't run on a standard processor, and there is definitely no ARM implementation of the Dropbox app. @"fadi", after glancing at some YouTube videos, it appears they're either using code from Github to directly upload files to the site without the use of an app, or…

Hi there, currently the only supported distros are Ubuntu and Fedora, so the amount of info we can provide is limited. Does the Dropbox desktop application appear in the menu bar? Are you instead doing a headless installation of the app? Have you tried doing an advanced reinstall? Keep me posted!
