Hi @"yoyochen", thanks for posting today! Currently, it isn’t possible to bypass the prompt to view the file on the Dropbox site. If you prefer to view the file without the comments pane, or any Dropbox interface, you can change the dl=0 to raw=1 to preview it. Hope this helps!

Hi @"rbato", thanks for posting on the Community! The dl=1 option only works for shared links, and not to folders when you’re logged into your account. Depending on how your browser works, you might be able to select which directory you want to save the folder when selecting it. Bear in mind that if the folder is greater…

Okay, and when you select the checkbox to the left of the deleted items in the first image, what options do you get on the right?

Could you forward a screenshot of the files as they appear in the events page?

Were the files definitely on the Dropbox site at one point? If they were deleted within the last 30 days, they should appear on the deleted files page. If they’re not there, then the files were either never synced to the site, permanently deleted from the site, or in a shared folder that was permanently removed from the…

Hi @"cdnhaese", thanks for joining the Community! Did you delete the files in the app itself, or directly from the Dropbox site, app, or folder on your machine? Was the file in a shared folder that you deleted from the account? If so, try checking if the folder is visible here and add it back to your account. Keep me…

Glad to hear the info help out, @"jrockel"! Enjoy your weekend! :relieved:

If that's the case, then you'd need to create individual shared links to each file, and not use the shared folder link. Currently, there isn’t a way to generate shared links automatically or in bulk, though it might be possible using the Dropbox API.

If a link to a folder looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/987u032178547/kmn23980ndagsa?dl=0 Then a link to a file in that shared folder would look like this: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/987u032178547/kmn23980ndagsa?dl=0&preview=mytestfile.mp3 Are you saying that this wouldn't work if the page is too long and needs…

Generally, if there’s a shared link to a folder, you can extrapolate the shared links to the files by using the overall folder link, and then adding the file file to the end of the link itself. Try clicking one of the files there, so you can see the link, and then you can modify your search (or in the Google Sheet) to show…

Hi @"antoniovandre", thanks for joining the Community! While we don’t have any specific openings for this role, you can check our list of available jobs to see if any suit you. Hope this helps!

Hi @"Emad Naimat", thanks for joining the Community! Have you tried using the searchbar on the site, or the Dropbox desktop application to quickly locate the files? Are the files also shared via a shared link to the folder, or just a shared folder? Keep me posted!
-
Yes, this is a Windows prompt for choosing what to do with multiple files. It’s possible that there was a recent change or update to Windows that affected what happened earlier.
-
Hi @"NSKoepli", thanks for joining the Community! Are you copying the files into Explorer/Finder, or are you using the new Dropbox desktop application, or the site? Any info you can provide regarding the pasting would help, including screenshots!

Just to clarify, deselecting folders in selective sync will always delete the local copy of the folder. It has never had another alternative behavior. If the local folder remained on the machine, then the process actually failed. If you are finding threads of users experiencing another behavior, then it was due to their…

Hi @"studiohenri", thanks for posting on the Community! Currently it isn’t possible to disable notifications for Dropbox Transfers. If you wish, you can suggest this idea on this page in order for other users to vote on the idea. Thanks for posting!

Glad to hear it, @"Schlago"! Enjoy the rest of your week! :grinning:

Hi @"Schlago", thanks for posting on the Community! On the new version of iOS, the option to upload files to Dropbox, and other apps, has changed. You’re seeing the Share with Dropbox option, which requires you to enter an email address to post the share. Tap the share icon on the file in question, and then scroll down the…

Glad to hear it, @"LuanTeles", enjoy your week ahead!

Can you try accessing the folders straight from the Dropbox folder itself, and not the Quick Action menu in Explorer? Do you still experience this issue on any file and folder? If it only occurs in certain locations, are they in a team folder, shared folder, or read-only folder?
-
If you’re not getting the option to edit the file via the mobile app, which should then open Numbers, then it isn’t possible. Have you tried the steps I previously mentioned to open Numbers directly and access Dropbox from there?
-
What error are you getting when attempting to upload the MP3 file using the Dropbox mobile app? Are you uploading it into the root Dropbox folder, or a subfolder? Any details you can provide would be great!
-
Hi @"LuanTeles", thanks for posting today! You can preview the shared link without the Dropbox prompts around it by changing the dl=0 to raw=1. This will force the file to preview as the image itself on the site. As to whether or not it will appear fullscreen depends on how your browser processes the image. Hope this helps!

Hi @"Trey2", thanks for posting today! Are you trying to upload files from the desktop app, mobile app, or the Dropbox site directly? Keep me posted!
-
Hi @"iyiyi", thanks for posting on the Community! Could you forward a screenshot showing exactly what options you get when attempting to open the file in the Dropbox app, and what you see if you try to open the file? Are you able to access Dropbox directly from the Pages app to see if you’re able to view the Dropbox…

Could you expand the screenshot to show the entire window of the file you’re right clicking? Do the files have the Dropbox syncing icons on all of them? Thanks!
-
The first image seems to show the normal choices when a file is in the Dropbox folder. The second image is most likely for a file that isn’t in either Dropbox folder, which is why you’re getting the choice to send it via file transfer using your personal or business account. This is also why there’s no copy link option…

Hi @"BPTSA Mike", thanks for joining the Community! Are you experiencing this issue when right clicking on any file or folder in your Dropbox account, or is it just in a specific folder? Could you try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application, without uninstalling it first, by using this link to see if it helps? Keep me…

Thanks for keeping us posted, @"joelandamber"! It’s good to know that you were able to narrow down the cause for this issue on Chrome.

Hi @"jessekinsman", thanks for joining the Community! Have you tried disabling autosave to see if this helps? Does this occur for Numbers files located outside of the Dropbox folder? Lastly, could you clarify if you meant that this doesn’t occur if the Dropbox desktop application is paused from syncing. Keep me posted!
