As we're not experiencing any form of slowdown with the site currently, there might be something else specific to your setup which could be affecting the connection to the Dropbox servers.

Hi @"tgauerke", do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains? As you mentioned this is a work network, have you checked with your IT team regarding this matter?

Are you able to save the PDF and manually upload it to Dropbox using the Dropbox mobile app instead of the Files app?

Are you certain that the Dropbox desktop application is running and syncing in the menu bar near the clock? What message do you get if you hover over the icon?

Do any icons appear in Finder on that machine for the Dropbox folder? Could you attach a screenshot showing this in more detail, while hiding any personal info?

Thanks for the info, are you only getting this on Windows 11 devices, or also for other devices? As you've disconnected and reconnected it successfully, it does seem like the app developers would need to contact the Dropbox team for assistance.

Hi @"Photon_wrangler", with selective sync, there are no placeholders, the files literally do no exist on your machine, and will only appear on the site. Only Smart Sync with online-only files have placeholders on your machine.
