Hi @"santod2020", thanks for messaging the Community. Could you clarify how your program links to Dropbox? Are the images stored on your Dropbox account? This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"Cappa57", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Since it sounds like the Dropbox folder has moved due to being on the new version for Mac OS, this is why you're experiencing this new behavior. As your symlinks no longer seem to work any longer, you could try using the computer backup feature to have your folders…

Hi @"glenn", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what emails you're receiving from Dropbox to complete your storage? A screenshot of this, while hiding any personal info, would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @"erpaolo77", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As it sounds like you're on the new version of the Dropbox app for Mac OS, Apple no longer allows Photos Library to be stored over cloud-storage services. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi @"HongStarr", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looks like your Dropbox account is migrating from the old Dropbox folder location to the new CloudStorage location. Do you have any remaining files in the old location on your device, or do you still have both Dropbox folders visible? This will help me to…

Okay, how are you accessing your email then on your phone if you're not using an app? Is it through a browser, or does an app load up showing you your inbox?
-
Hi @"MrtzWlkr", currently, there isn't an option to disable the Transfer emails.
-
Thanks for the info, the new folder structure makes it easier to access and organize shared content, while keeping members’ personal files separate. Currently, it isn't possible to disable the personal member folder or to return to the old structure. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi @"janenipius", just for clarification, are you referring to an external drive backup, or a computer backup, which are both different things? Do you have your computer backup enabled while having your Dropbox folder stored on the external drive?
-
Is there a specific app you're using? Is it the Apple Mail app, the Microsoft Outlook app, or another app when accessing your inbox?
-
File format refers to a change in the file itself, however, it sounds like you're referring to the location change on Mac OS devices. The Dropbox desktop application will still be able to sync normally with devices using the old location, or if they're using Windows or other devices in general.
-
Hi @"SIRADA", in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?

Hi @"janenipius", are you following these steps to restore from a previous computer backup onto your machine?

Hi @"Matthew G.11", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try temporarily disabling the Dropbox from the Locations, rebooting the device, re-enabling it and see if you can access it again? Are you using cellular data or a WiFi network to access the internet? This will help me to assist further!

Could you try accessing the preferences by following these steps?
-
Hi @"sarah2023", just for clarification, my colleague was asking about the space on your mobile itself, and not the quota on the site.

Hi @"nicwg", thanks for messaging the Community. Could you clarify what you mean by the file format? Are you referring to the new location of the Dropbox folder on Mac OS devices? This will help me to assist further!

Since it does sound like there is something preventing the files from being downloaded due to the school network, as it works elsewhere, keep us updated with any news on if they were able to make the downloads work again.
-
@"robert1881", have you tried replying to the email directly via your inbox for @"Walter" to assist you further, instead of clicking any links? Hi @"bartb", what is the proxy setting in the Dropbox desktop application preferences? Since it's restricted to this machine in different locations, there should be something on…

-
Hi @"Brian Battles", I’d be happy to clarify the expected behavior for audio playback in our app. When you play an audio file in our app, you should be able to minimize the app and still hear playback. However, the Dropbox app is not designed to be a fully-featured media player, so if you’re playing items from a folder of…

Are you accessing these links via a school environment? Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains? Can you download the links from another network entirely?
