Hi @"mattiaa", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you check the site for that specific folder to confirm if a shared link has been created there? Does this occur when copying shared links for other folders or files on your account? Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Hi @"stefansant", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looks like it's redirecting you to this page on our site. Do you still have two-step verification enabled on your device? Is the phone number on your account up-to-date, if you recently changed it? This will help me to assist further!

We are currently experiencing issues related to sharing, so it's possible it could be affecting previews on shared links.
-
Is the Dropbox preview pane required for your workflow? Does the preview without the pane show the full version of the file itself?
-
No worries, I'm glad to hear that you were able to locate what was causing this behavior. If you have any further queries in the future, feel free to message back!
-
Hi @"eddrop1", @"FWAtherton", could you try previewing the file while forcing it to render in the browser by changing dl=0 to raw=1 option in the shared link? Does this make a difference to the file?
-
Are you able to locate the Dropbox icon in the system tray near the clock? From there you'll be able to access the preferences.
-
Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you've got a chance!

As the videos don't preview normally on the site, then it could be a codec issue preventing them from loading normally in a browser. Do the files preview normally when you download them?

You can check the Camera Uploads folder on your Dropbox account to see if the files are there, to confirm if it was using the camera upload feature. Regarding the SD card, you'll need to find a way to unmark it from being read-only in your OS-setting, as this isn't something that the Dropbox service would change on your…

Hi @"cgmotophoto", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The SD card shouldn't change to being read-only after any interaction with Dropbox. Did you enable the camera upload feature on the desktop for images and videos to be automatically synced to Dropbox, or did you enable the external drive backup? This will help…

Hi @"ikala", in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
Hi @"tko1908", since the recent change to the Mac OS verison of the desktop app, files will now automatically appear as online-only and will need to be marked as available offline to download fully to your machine. If you have folders, you could mark the folder as offline, and files within it would download.

Hi @"rachaelwoolston", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you uploading from your Mac device or an iOS device? Are you exporting or rendering a video from iMovie directly to Dropbox? Is this a built-in feature in the iMovie app? Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
-
No worries, it's possible that it needed time to fully sync to and from the devices.
-
Thanks, it might also be worth adding a test file directly onto the Dropbox site to see if it sync to both machines you're using, just to see the behavior.
-
Hi @"Steve A.13", are you running a Windows or a Mac device? If the latter, is the Dropbox folder located in the CloudStorage folder?
-
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
-
Hi @"MarkK01886", what OSes are running on both devices? Are these files in specific folders, or just randomly located on the account? Do you have selective sync enabled on the new device by any chance?
-
Hi @"xRuruu", no files will be deleted when your promotional space expires. You can still access and download your files. However, any edits or new files will not sync to your account if you are overquota.
-
Hi @"atmegadriverrr", are you on a Dropbox Basic plan and do you have more than 3 devices currently connected to your account?
-
Hi @"peterv43", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you trying to preview this on the Dropbox mobile app, or the Dropbox site itself? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"AndreiBarta", thanks for messaging the Community! You should be able to accomplish this by restricting access to folders by following these steps. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Hi @"BB27", thanks for messaging the Community. I can see that one of my colleagues tried to contact you to which we received no reply. In order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?

By default, new files added to the account from the site or another device would sync as online-only on your machine, but you can still mark them as available offline. Files will still sync as normal, and yes, you'd need to change your aliases if any apps of programs need to locate the Dropbox folder.
-
Hi @"DBMcNic", thanks for messaging the Community. The new version of the Dropbox desktop application on Mac OS will move the Dropbox folder into the CloudStorage folder primarily, and can only be stored on your local disk. You can find out more changes from this on this article. If you choose to upgrade or not, files will…

Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible!

It is possible to select multiple files, or to download an entire folder from the site, and it would be zipped up to then be downloaded. However, this can fail if there are too many files, or too much data itself to be zipped. This could imply that compression doesn't occur on the server, since it would take a long time to…

Hi @"Done", since you are on a trial, you can try contacting support directly from the site if you have any further queries.
