Okay, so the option you're seeing is to permanently remove your access to the shared folder. It's not actually added onto your account. If you choose this option, it'll no longer appear there, and in order to access it again, you'll need to be invited to the folder.

That doesn't seem to be a valid ticket ID as there are too many numbers. Could you try submitting a new ticket by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link, choose 'Other' and then put in an email address that you can access, followed by your billing info.

HI @"Joshydubs", what type of image file is it? Could you attach a screenshot of what you're seeing, if the image isn't showing any personal information?
-
Hi @"Ana0203", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you make a screenshot, it should be in your clipboard, so you can just paste it in your next reply. Regarding the shared folder, are you able to leave the folder from this page? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @Andyjenk2 , are you uploading a file to a private folder, a shared folder, or are you on a Dropbox Business team? Could you clarify what issue you're experiencing, currently?
-
Have you tried replying to the email you received for further assistance? Do you have the ticket ID in the email in order to locate it on the system?
-
Hi @"YesVojtech", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you reinstalled the app, did you do an advanced reinstall? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Ishaan Singh", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you see a receipt for a successful purchase on this page? Did you upgrade to a trial via the site directly, or using the Dropbox mobile app? This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"TadmitProd", thanks for bringing this to our attention. On the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, packages now behave like normal files instead of directories. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

You can vote on this idea which is currently available to register your interest in the feature.

Hi @"Maayan Ben-Tzion", are you referring to your Dropbox account, or a Dropbox Sign subscription?
-
Hi @"ab303", regarding the folders without green ticks, have you tried marking the folders as available offline to ensure that files were downloaded fully?
-
Hi @"clarkie", if you're not seeing the files, then it's like my colleague suggested, your old account was part of a Dropbox Business team. As you mentioned you saw both your personal and work files in one place, this could mean they were all on your company account. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful on this matter.

Hi @"Homer", yes, technically, it could be possible, since a different user account on the same machine would appear as a different device on the site. Bear in mind that the accounts would only be backed up when you're logged into that user account. It doesn't happen in the background when you're signed into the other user…
-
Hi @"rws762", just for clarification, did you perform the advanced re-installation that my colleague suggested?
-
Hi @"jaohar", currently there isn't a method to determine how many files you have on your account via the Dropbox site.
-
Hi @"DC947", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what notifications you're referring to? Are you seeing this on the Dropbox site, mobile app or desktop app? Any other info or screenshots (without private information) would be helpful!

Hi @"dbedit", we appreciate the feedback on this matter. As you're aware, LAN sync is currently not supported for users on the newer Mac OS version of the Dropbox desktop application. We take all comments into consideration when looking to improve the Dropbox service.

How are you uploading your data? As I mentioned previously, this only applies to shared link and file requests, not when you upload files directly to your own account, or via syncing. If the bandwidth limit has been breached, then it means that either others have been downloading from your shared links, or uploading using…

It's possible that this file is created by an app or service which is syncing via the backup feature. As it begins with a dot, it might appear as a hidden folder on Mac OS devices.

Since the team admin of the Dropbox Business team technically owns the account, this means that all the data within the team, including that on the members' accounts, would be owned by the admin. For more clarification on if the admin has the option to sign in as a user, you can contact them directly to see if they have…

Thanks for the update on this matter, this might help other users with similar issues. Enjoy your week!

Since the backup is disabled, there shouldn't be a Desktop folder in your Dropbox folder. Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're describing in Finder?
-
Hi @"hughH", could you attach a screenshot, while hiding any personal info, showing the icon you're seeing when you try to drag and drop?
-
Hi @"AlanBustany", are you using the Dropbox Backup feature, or just using the normal sync service?
-
Hi @"Vicky8", if you're on a Dropbox Business team with an Advanced plan, the team admin can sign in as a user, and essentially view all files on their Dropbox account, as if they were that user. There is also an option to notify the user if the admin did enable this option to sign in as a user.
-
Hi @"RP-DB-Admin", as it sounds like you're on a Dropbox Business team, then phone support is available for the team admin. They can call our team using the options on the support page when logged in. If you're not the admin, then you have access to chat and email support.

Hi @"Avior", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The information regarding the daily bandwidth limits can be found on this page. Bandwidth is only used up when users view or download files via a shared link, or when they upload files via a file request link. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
-
Hi @"laura ho", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Does the shared link work normally when you access it via a browser? The issue could be related to Microsoft, as the error is the same as in this thread, since support for Office 2013 ended in April this year. If you have any further queries, feel free to message…

If there is a backup on the site, it would remain there indefinitely if it wasn't disabled correctly. You can check for backups on the site to delete them manually from there. Have you confirmed that there are no private files on the main Dropbox site, and did a size calculation on folders to ensure that it isn't caused by…
