Is this occurring on any Excel file you're using? Is it only in this shared folder? What about other Office files, like Word documents, does the Badge appear there? What OS version and Office version are you running currently?
-
Is the Dropbox desktop application have the syncing paused, or is it quit entirely? Is the Excel file and xls or xlsx file? Is it disabled in the preferences of the desktop app?
-
Are you seeing the badge next to your documents when you edit them in Excel? Are the other users editing the file from Excel on the machine, or via the Dropbox site?
-
Hi @"ksl0588", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you referring to the Dropbox Badge that appears on Microsoft Office documents? What type of file are you trying to edit? This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for the info, for any API queries, It needs to be in the appropriate forum, so I'll move this post there.

Hi @"Goldmine", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You can navigate to a folder on the site, and then when you search, it will be limited to that folder. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

You can access your Dropbox Backup from this page, and then download files to your computer to then attach to an email. When you click the All Files on the left, on the right column, you can click the column titles themselves to sort by alphabetical order, or modification date and 'who can access'

Hi @"GaleAbraham", thanks for messaging the Community. Are you referring to downloading a file from the Dropbox Backup page, or something else? This will help me to assist further!

Since you've mentioned that other apps experience the same issue, this would be related to the device itself, since the Dropbox site doesn't amend your files in any way. If the file previews normally on the site, on a desktop machine, and other devices, then it means there might be an issue on your device.
-
By default, the Dropbox folder, when the app is running, would have a Dropbox icon on there. Could you attach the screenshot of the Get Info page for that folder?
-
Thanks, in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
If it's a video, there could be a codec issue on your device preventing it from rendering correctly. Have you tried a different video player? You can take a screenshot and then paste it into the thread, or by clicking the camera icon to upload the image.

You can check the breakdown of your quota from this page. Removing shared folders would immediately free up the quota. Aside from shared folders, you could also have a Dropbox Backup enabled, which also takes up quota on your account.
-
No worries, glad to have helped out. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Thanks for the image, it doesn't seem to be an official Dropbox folder, since it doesn't have the Dropbox logo on it. If you click the Dropbox folder, does it take you directly to the folder with the synced files? Is this an alias folder you created? If you right click it and then Get Info, could you attach a screenshot…
-
Okay, so the option you're seeing is to permanently remove your access to the shared folder. It's not actually added onto your account. If you choose this option, it'll no longer appear there, and in order to access it again, you'll need to be invited to the folder.

That doesn't seem to be a valid ticket ID as there are too many numbers. Could you try submitting a new ticket by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link, choose 'Other' and then put in an email address that you can access, followed by your billing info.
-
HI @"Joshydubs", what type of image file is it? Could you attach a screenshot of what you're seeing, if the image isn't showing any personal information?
-
Hi @"Ana0203", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you make a screenshot, it should be in your clipboard, so you can just paste it in your next reply. Regarding the shared folder, are you able to leave the folder from this page? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @Andyjenk2 , are you uploading a file to a private folder, a shared folder, or are you on a Dropbox Business team? Could you clarify what issue you're experiencing, currently?
-
Have you tried replying to the email you received for further assistance? Do you have the ticket ID in the email in order to locate it on the system?
-
Hi @"YesVojtech", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you reinstalled the app, did you do an advanced reinstall? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Ishaan Singh", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you see a receipt for a successful purchase on this page? Did you upgrade to a trial via the site directly, or using the Dropbox mobile app? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"TadmitProd", thanks for bringing this to our attention. On the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, packages now behave like normal files instead of directories. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

You can vote on this idea which is currently available to register your interest in the feature.

Hi @"Maayan Ben-Tzion", are you referring to your Dropbox account, or a Dropbox Sign subscription?
-
Hi @"ab303", regarding the folders without green ticks, have you tried marking the folders as available offline to ensure that files were downloaded fully?
-
Hi @"clarkie", if you're not seeing the files, then it's like my colleague suggested, your old account was part of a Dropbox Business team. As you mentioned you saw both your personal and work files in one place, this could mean they were all on your company account. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful on this matter.
