HI @"SausalitoDog", as the Dropbox folder is working normally in Finder, but not Adobe Bridge, it might be worth contacting Adobe for further information regarding this matter.
-
Hi @"Peter Marigold", we appreciate the feedback on this matter. We take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox service.

Is the file in a private or a shared folder? Are you part of a Dropbox Business team?
-
If you created a normal shared link, then there shouldn't be a login request, since the links should be visible to anyone with the URL. Is this a view-only shared link? Are you part of a Dropbox Business team, which could've changed the permissions on shared links? Could you clarify exactly how you created the link, and…

Hi @"Turville Wines", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you open the shared link with just dl=0, does it open normally on the site? How are you copying the link, via the site, the desktop application, or the mobile app? This will help me to assist further!

The way it works is that you have two separate accounts under different emails to login to the site. One has to be a Dropbox Business team account, and the other has to be a personal account (either paid or free). When you link the two accounts using these steps, this will allow you to access both accounts in the Dropbox…

Did you try using the recovery words to login to your account, before you go ahead and reset the account?
-
Yes, @"Mark", is correct, one account would need to be a Dropbox Business account, and the second could be either a Professional, Plus or Basic account in order to link them to have two accounts on one computer.
-
Hi @"at0605", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you got a refund from Apple, did they confirm that they would cancel the subscription to Dropbox at the same time? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"peswars", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you sure that you've deleted any backup that is on this page on your account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"alice23", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The restoration of a folder can take time depending on the size of the folder. How large was the folder that was deleted originally? This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for the info, currently the Dropbox Invoices service is still undergoing maintenance. We have no update on when normal service will resume.
-
Hi @"Zack Smith", have you tried emailing the team at the email in the screenshot for further assistance on this matter?
-
If you quit the Dropbox desktop application entirely, and then try searching, do these ghost files appear again?
-
Since it was a PDF file, are you simply able to add the video yourself into the file? Was the prompt you saw from Dropbox, or the app used to create the PDF?
-
Are you not able to right click the ghost files in the search to determine where they are located at all?
-
Are the files located in a subfolder, or the root folder of your Dropbox account?
-
Is it possible you were using Dropbox DocSend, which has a similar feature?
-
Hi @"jaredg1", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Currently, there isn't an option to do what you're asking on Dropbox Dash. If you wish, you can suggest this by sending feedback in the app itself.
-
Hi @"Valeria P.6", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify how you were uploading your document to the site? What document type were you creating? Were you originally using Dropbox Capture to begin with? This will help me to assist further!
-
This would be referring to the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS. Are you able to mark entire folders as available offline when you right click the folder?
-
Hi @"Pysio13", thanks for contacting us. What filetypes are you trying to create shared links for on the web, and are these folders as well? This will help me to assist further!
-
Is your Dropbox folder located in the Home folder, or the new CloudStorage location?
-
Hi @"HelloAliceismyname", thanks for posting today! Is one account a private personal plan, and the work account a Dropbox Business team account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Thanks for the info, in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
Hi @"Fabiobox", the old implementation of Smart Sync has changed since the thread was created. Just to clarify, what OS are you running on your device, and what version of the Dropbox desktop application is running when you hover over the icon in the system tray/menu bar?
-
If it's been over a year since you logged into the account, then it means that your account was most likely deactivated by Dropbox due to inactivity. Unfortunately, this means that it wouldn't be possible to recover the old account or the files within that account.
-
Hi @"JoolzM", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance.
-
Hi @"almadenmike", if the events page is empty, it means there were no changes made on your account recently. You mentioned that you uploaded your file to Dropbox years ago. When was the last time you accessed your account before now? Was it over 12 months ago?
-
No worries, glad to have helped out. If you have any further queries in the future, feel free to message back. Enjoy your weekend!
