Thanks for the info. As you're still in contact with the specialist team, I'd recommend continuing with them as they have access to more account and device-specific information.

Hi @"SomeoneGodly", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you have any desktop or mobile devices that are able to access the account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"ahmed" Saami, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify how you're downloading the file? Is this from the site directly, the mobile app, or having the file download via syncing using the Dropbox desktop application? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Deborah P.4", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you referring to file requests, where files the users upload come directly to your account? Currently, there is no end-to-end encryption with Dropbox when users sync or upload files. If you require this service, you can consider using another app or service…

Hi @"subodh", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Did you upload the files and folders directly to the Dropbox site originally? How are you making changes in that folder? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"rainbowtrout", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As far as I'm aware, this is a setting from Microsoft itself, not Dropbox. Have you tried their official steps to change the save location? Keep me updated with any progress!

Hi everyone, thank you for your input on this. As you know, Dropbox servers are located in the EU and US, our EU based file storage is provided on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. While the GDPR does not require personal data to be hosted within the EU, the personal data that is entrusted to us is protected…

Hi @"fred k.1", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you know the full location of the Dropbox folder on the D:, then you can try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link. However, in the installation, there's an option for Advanced Settings. Make sure to choose that and select the parent…

Hi @"PBJB", currently, it isn't possible to see the full list of which files won't be uploaded. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Glad to see this has helped! If you need any further assistance in the future, please let me know. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi @"GordonLamb8", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It sounds like the external drive backup is still on your account. You should be able to see and delete it from this page. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Hi @"MC58", are you able to right click the Dropbox folder and choose the option for 'Make available offline' so that they download to your computer?
-
The message can mean three things, either the owner of the folder, or an editor, or you yourself removed you from the shared folder. For security and privacy purposes, it doesn't state who removed you from the folder, even if it was yourself.

Hi @"druck0162", thanks for bringing this to our attention. In general, we don't recommend changing the URL for shared links directly to have them embedded on a site. Could you try forcing the file to render by using this method? Keep me updated with any progress!

Are the image files marked as local, available, or online-only?
-
Hi @"srndreambox", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application completely to see if the preview changes? Is your Dropbox folder located in the new CloudStorage location on your Mac? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Marshal mellow", this would mean that you were logged into another Dropbox account, since you can't have two usernames under the same email on the Community. This means you have another email address which has a Dropbox account on it. Try logging into the site with your current email to see the files, and then logout…

Could you try using Safari in private browsing mode, without any extensions running, to see if this issue occurs again?
-
In general, when you upload files manually via the Dropbox mobile app, the current date and time are used. As you used a different method for the JPG images, this changed the way it was added into the Dropbox account.
-
Yes, we're simply reinstalling it while it's installed, just to repair any potential issues in the program itself. All settings will remain the same.
-
Hi @"azalea4va", to change the UAC, you can follow these steps to see if they help. Keep us updated with any changes.
-
Thanks for the info. Could you try reinstalling the app without uninstalling it first using this link?
-
Hi @"Darko G.1", thanks for the info. Try getting in contact with our support team directly by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link. From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter an email you can access, otherwise the email would go…

Just to check, this is the normal window to save files from the web. Is the window not going away when you click the Save button?
-
Are the JPG images being uploaded using the camera upload feature, or by manually uploading them using the same method you provided?
-
Thanks for the info, could you try the steps in this thread to see if the Dropbox icons appear in the top of the registry?
-
Hi @"floraup", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you inviting them to a team folder? This would force them to join the team in order to view the folder. When you share a normal folder, make sure to allow permissions for non-team members. If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
-
Hi @"thomashayden", could you copy and paste the screenshot directly into your post instead of via a shared link? Have you tried using a different browser to see if the behavior is different when downloading files?
-
Hi @"arthurtx", if your access has been removed from the shared folder, this means that someone in the folder deleted your access. You'd need to contact the creator of the folder to re-invite you back so you can add it to your account again.
-
Hi @"Faabbbbio", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify how you're uploading these images? Which device and app are you using? This will help me to assist further!
