Hi @"Anjistar", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Have you tried uploading the files manually via the Dropbox mobile app directly? Keep me updated with any progress!

Does the link work normally when not viewing via Shopify?

Hi @"Oliver243234", thanks for messaging the Community! It depends on how you're linking to the file in question. Absolute paths contain full folder names, and relative paths use their current location in the file structure. You could try these steps to see if they help. Keep me updated with any progress!

The 'New Volume' is the external drive backup, as you've mentioned, and so it shouldn't be visible in the Dropbox folder on your computer. It sounds like you might have another app or service that is trying to backup your external drive into your Dropbox folder for some reason. You can try deleting the Backup (SSD) folders…

Hi @"AplusLen", if you don't have access to that incorrect email, as it already exists, then it means that you won't be able to transfer the bonus quota to your own account.

Hi @"kbrandstrup", thanks for bringing this to our attention. How exactly are you using shared links in Shopify? Are these links to download files, or to view them directly on the site? Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

What type of file are you trying to edit? A screenshot showing how you're trying to do this would help greatly.

Hi @"wmcorcor", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify exactly how you're copying files across? Are you downloading them from the site directly to the external drive? Are you copying files from your local Dropbox folder into the external drive? This will help me to assist further!

This doesn't appear to be a Dropbox Backup of an external drive. Is it possible you're using another service to backup the drive on Dropbox? are you seeing the same backup on this page?

Hi @"Jax1122", this seems to be a different issue to the original poster. Could you clarify what exactly has happened? Are you seeing anything in the deleted files page?

Do you have edit access to those shared folders, or just read-only access? Are the files docx or doc files?
-
Hi @"cosfordparker", could you try quitting other menu bar icons for other apps to see if this reveals the Dropbox icon, as it's possible that it could be automatically hidden.

The external drive backup shouldn't appear in the Dropbox folder on your machine. If it does, it would only be a shortcut to the backup visible on the site. Could you attach a screenshot showing the external drive backup taking up space on your machine?
-
Hi @"donheff", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Which Dropbox Backup did you enable? Was it just for the external drive, or did you choose to backup certain system folders like Desktop, Documents and Downloads? What backups do you see on this page? This will help me to assist further!

In the first image, it looks like this is a shared link when you're not signed into the same Dropbox account (namely, as an anonymous user), and the second is, since it's giving you options on how to open the file itself, instead of adding it to your own account.
-
Hi @"jacky-radix", just for clarification, are you using the Dropbox API when creating this webhook?
-
If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

If the movement event isn't appearing on the events page, then something could've affected the move itself. Only the support team would be able to look into this matter in more detail if it occurs again.

Thanks for the info. You can read up more on this change to the shared links from this thread.

Hi @"Anthony47", thanks for messaging the Community. The name on the shared link is used to identify the person who shared the link for those users who are expecting a link from a certain person or organization. This is primarily for users to not ignore shared links from anonymous users. Currently, there isn't an option to…

Hi @"Arrell5093", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you seeing this on the Dropbox site itself, or after you download the file to your computer again? This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"Stupendastic", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what you mean by 'move the folder from Dropbox Web to another folder that is not synchronized with our NAS'? You can copy and paste the screenshot into the post, or click the camera icon in the format bar. Regarding the behavior, what version of the Dropbox mobile app and Word etc are you running?

Hi @"pokeefe0001", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You could first try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application, without uninstalling it first, by clicking this link to see if this helps. Keep me updated with any progress!
