From the screenshot, you have 265.3 GB of data on your account. If you tried to have all of that available offline on your computer, when you only have 125 GB free, it wouldn't work. Are you certain that you've deselected the larger folders so that the others can download to your machine?

It's possible that, by default, when you're creating a shared link, it creates one with edit access. Try checking the shared link on this page to see what it is set as.
-
Did you check to see if you created a shared link with edit access on the Dropbox desktop application, or on the mobile app?

Hi @"LK10", are you part of a Dropbox Business team, or are you on a personal account? These notifications only appear on Business plans. Could you clarify what you mean by your last question? I provided the steps on how to locate the files on their account, if they belonged to a member of the team, and likewise if the…

HI @"Ronb988", did you create a shared link with edit permissions, or with view permissions? If you share a link with edit permissions, it creates a shared folder that they can add and edit on their account.

What is 'the page' you accessed, was it the official Dropbox site? Were you able to access the documents you need? Currently, this is what the official login page looks like: As you can see, this has the new logo, and no Microsoft login. I'd personally recommend accessing the Dropbox site and then resetting your Dropbox…

We appreciate the feedback on this matter. We take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox site and services.

Hi @"vincy peng", the image you posted previously, on what site is this, is it the official Dropbox site? It's showing the older logo for Dropbox, so there is a possibility that this isn't a genuine site.

Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance.

Hi @"B ob8er", the information that you're referring to is the IP of your machine when connected to the Internet. On the site, the country IP geolocation isn't always accurate as some IP addresses might be associated with the wrong country. If the country isn't correct, you can check it using any online IP address lookup…

As you've deleted the app, it wouldn't be possible to delete the backup and restore the location of your folders to their default location easily. Let me know when you wish to continue troubleshooting.
-
Hi @"Regc", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You can disable the Dropbox Backup feature by following these steps. If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
-
Hi @"megawhite", in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile? @"EvilBolzen", we appreciate feedback on the Windows 10+ beta app. If you wish, we can contact you via email for the issues you're experiencing, if you haven't contacted the…

Hi @"matahariungu", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode, specifically without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Hi @"kimmj98", thanks for bringing this to our attention. In order to import files into Dropbox, they would require unique names to avoid being overwritten by each other. I can only recommend that you provide names to each of those documents on Google Drive and then perform the import via the Dropbox site. If you have any…

Hi @"One Yoga", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance!

As this a shared folder that they renamed? If so, then the renaming doesn't apply to anyone else apart from that user. You'll need to amend the folder name manually on the site to remove the : symbol.
-
HI @"Rei3e", are you only getting this issue in the browser, or in File Explorer on Windows?
-
Hi @"Menek", it sounds like another user is removing you as a member, and then re-inviting you back to the folder. This can happen when the shared folder is being moved into another location which has different sharing permissions, such as in a team folder.
-
Hi @"owunsch", could you let us know if the Dropbox folder is located in your Home folder, or the CloudStorage location?
-
Hi @"VEP", what is the exact version of Windows 10 you are running? When you previously uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app, did you perform an advanced reinstallation?
-
Hi @"Stam25", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you're using a shared link, and you're on a Dropbox Professional or Business plan, you can create a link with a password on it. Otherwise, if the file type supports it, you can create a password on the file which you can share privately to that user to open and…
-
Hi @"eze2", have you tried contacting the creator of the shared link to see if they can recreate the link to download the file?
-
Hi @"Andika Scofield", Dropbox has supported the Files app since it was introduced. The behavior you're experiencing seems to be a device or app-related matter, since no other users are reporting this. As you're creating an app, are you linking to the Dropbox API? Should I move this post to the API forum for the team there…
-
Hi @"leveeroadstudio", could you clarify how you copied the image links in bulk? Was this from the Dropbox site when logged into your account, or via a shared link? There wasn't a feature like this on the site before, so you might be performing a unique method to acquire the links.
-
Hi @"mkalichman", as you're on a Dropbox Basic plan, and you're not on any trial or paid plan, then you can ignore the email, since it won't try to charge you.
-
Hi @"jorde", does the shared link work when copying and pasting the URL into a browser normally? Does it only not work in the third party app?
-
Could you attach a screenshot showing the place you saw this PC on the site? Is it on the Backups page?
-
Hi @"KoekoekFilm", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As we don't officially support NAS drives, you would need to look into the app you're using to mirror files, and contact the developer for assistance on that matter. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi @"Conn217", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you're the team admin of a Dropbox Business team, you can view the licenses on the admin console, and if need be, remove any unnecessary licenses. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
