HI @"Dave E.1", most likely there is an app or service on your machine that is accessing the file somehow. It shouldn't necessarily change anything in the file, unless you see any new version history on the site for those files?
-
Hi @"Maringo", thanks for bringing this to our attention. How large is the file you're trying to add to your Dropbox account? Is this an individual file, or a shared folder? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"jpeduto", if the drive isn't located in the Dropbox Backup feature, then it means it wouldn't be supported for the backup process.

That's correct, it isn't possible to import any Google docs to Dropbox in their original file format. This was already the case even before the recent change that all new Google docs created on Dropbox will reside on Google servers.
-
As of a recent change, Google docs cannot be stored on Dropbox servers. This article contains more information regarding this matter.
-
Thanks for the info, it's possible then that certain Google Sheets features won't work on this file when converted to an Excel file.
-
If you visit the homepage, try clicking the cog icon next to 'All files' and then 'Add from Google Drive'. Note that any Google doc files would generally be stored on Google servers, for files created on Dropbox, so I'm not certain how your Sheets file would be handled after importing it.
-
Hi @"DebraV", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just to clarify, did you create the Sheets doc on the Dropbox site itself? This will help me to assist further!

Can you right click that specific image from Explorer and choose Properties, in order to determine the exact location of that file?

What is the default browser on your computer? Are you able to use the connect a computer feature to login to your account?
-
According to the screenshot, there is already a link, as you get the option to delete the link. What happens if you copy the link and paste it into an incognito/private browsing window (while you're not logged into your own account)?
-
Hi @"AnnieBoon", if this was a file request link, then you should only receive an email when your files are uploaded, and not when they open your file. From what you've described, it sounds like the upload was successful.
-
HI @"bobbysimpson", do you have a lot of icons in your menu bar? The Dropbox icon could be automatically hidden by Mac OS. Could you try quitting some other apps from there to see if this helps to bring up the icon there?
-
Hi @"Mikeb365", could you attach a screenshot showing exactly what you're tapping when attaching the file and what options you see?
-
Hi @"jprogers53", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what you mean by this? Are they in the Dropbox folder? Do they have any sync icons on them? What happens when you attempt to access or delete them? Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

The web version of Excel does have some differences to the normal desktop version, however, most normal functionality should be there. When a file is updated and saved, the Dropbox desktop application will sync the changes to the site, and vice versa. If you're both working on the desktop app, the Dropbox Badge would be…

Hi @"TERRACE_87", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance!
-
Hi @"cffcff", thanks for bringing this to our attention. There shouldn't be any issues when editing in Excel via the Dropbox site while on a Basic account, by following these steps. If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
-
Hi @"Denitsa", if the steps that the support team provided didn't resolve the issue, then replying to their email would them to assist in more detail on their end.
-
Thanks for the info, I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to investigate this matter further on their end.
-
If the file isn't opening after downloading it, then it sounds like an issue with the zip file or iCloud itself, and not Dropbox. Have you tried contacting Apple support regarding this matter?
-
Hi @"phantomenacer", could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?
-
Hi @"Jac711", thanks for the info, can you try this with a different PDF entirely to see if this helps?
-
Hi @"SpudupS1946-Dragon", since you only have private files on your account, you'll need to manually check your files and folders in the Dropbox folder to see what could be taking up your quota. Perhaps you have an app or service that is moving files into your Dropbox folder, or another machine you own is syncing files to…

Hi @"CCC3", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify exactly how you're accessing this document on your account? Is this from Dropbox Sign, or from the Signatures page? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"jibomom", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what you mean by the Public folder? A screenshot of what you're seeing would help us greatly. This will help me to assist further!
-
Have you tried deleting the cache folder to see if this helps? Did you mark the entire Dropbox folder as online-only? You might need to check the properties of each subfolder manually to see where the space is being used up.
-
Hi @"dson131", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using a public email provider or a private business domain? This will help me to assist further!

According to that image and the size on disk, the folder appears to take up just under 1 GB of space on your computer. Should the folder take up less than 1 GB of space?

I removed the link you provided for your own security. It does seem like there is a connection issue on your end to the FunCaptcha server. Have you checked the previous suggestion I mentioned in case you can't access that domain needed for the captcha to proceed normally?
