Hey @"SULALDE", thanks for posting today. Is it possible that you've upgraded a different account than the one you were planning to? And did you upgrade through our website of through the Dropbox app on your phone? If you upgraded through our website with your credit/debit card, you can use our lookup tool, to locate the…

Hey @"Natmonster", would you mind replying back to that ticket? If it's closed, this will create a new ticket number, so please send that along, once it shows up. As for you @"debmahtab", can you please send us a screenshot of where you see this "shared by Deb B. 'Desktop'"? Even if two accounts have the same name, they're…

Oh, that sounds great, I'm happy you figured it out, Alessia! If you need anything else, you can always find us here. Have a great day!

Hey @"RichieRich1891", thanks for posting to our Community! We really appreciate your feedback here about Dropbox Passwords. I'll make sure to pass your comments along to our team. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hey everyone, thanks for your reports. I was able to check with our Team, and it turns out that while Opera was working with Dropbox up until recently, Dropbox works better on the suggested browsers here. This would explain the behavior you experience. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused, I understand…

Hey everyone, thanks for the reports about this. Can you confirm if you're still having an issue? If so, let us know what version of your preferred browser you're using. Thanks.
-
Thanks for the nudge here, @"dobs", Do you mind if we email you, so we can investigate further?
-
Hey @"AB2021", you probably have the "early releases" option enabled in your account settings. This would download the beta version of the app to your computer. You can turn this setting off from this page. Once that's off, can you please install the latest version of the app? There's a new stable version out, which might…

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay here. If you're still having this issue, can you please let us know, so we can send you an email? Thanks!
-
Hey Alessia, can we actually send you an email, so we can look into this in private?
-
Hey @"DCSkipper" and @"GMart1120", can you please let us know which version of Safari you're using? Is your browser updated to the most recent version?

When you plug your external drive in to your computer and choose to back it up with Dropbox, the files will sync from your external drive to the Dropbox cloud. If you'd like to make changes to the files, though, you can only make the changes directly through the external drive. You can't edit/add/move files that are in the…
-
Hey @"Toa_Of_Justice", before we reach out to you, can you let us know if you've tried any troubleshooting steps other than restarting your device? Have you cleared the Dropbox app cache from the app's settings? Have you also tried uninstalling the app, restarting the device and reinstalling it? Just keep in mind that if…

Hey @"Kemaneo", thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just tried to recreate this on my own device, but tapping on the "open" button, just opened the link as normal. Which version of the Dropbox app do you have installed? And which browser are you using to open the link? Do you have a different one you can try? Let…
-
Hey Julie! Indeed, you can only make changes to your files in the external drive, but you cannot make changes to your backed up files in the cloud, so I guess the sync would be one-way, in this case.
-
Happy to see that, @"gduffydc", and thanks for letting me know! If you need anything else, just give us a shout. Have a great week ahead!
-
Hey @"merlin-eng", I'm afraid that the screenshots never got uploaded with your reply. Would you mind trying once more from the camera icon?
-
Hey @"JohnMiles", sorry to jump in here. I just sent you an email, so please make sure to get back to me, when you have a chance. Thanks!
-
I see, thanks for that, Lesley, and sorry for the delay here. It does seem like the Windows app is having trouble syncing your files. If you do wish to continue troubleshooting this, can you please try restarting your computer, to see if that helps? Can you also quit the app and then relaunch it? Maybe that'll do the trick.
-
Hey @"glower23", thanks for posting to our Community today! Would you mind giving us some more info on your issue, please? Are you not able to access your Dropbox files from your new PC? And do you have this issue with all your Dropbox files? Do you have this issue with your Backup too? Are you able to access all your…
-
Hey @"mcthom", thanks for letting us know about this. In general, camera uploads will recognize the photos that are already uploaded, and will continue only with the ones that aren't. This is quite strange indeed; can you let me know how you can see that it's trying to upload all your photos? Have you allowed any photos to…
-
Hey @"VisDom", I moved your post to this relevant thread. Please check out the info that Rich has provided here and make sure to try the steps to increase the bandwidth that the app uses from your preferences. I hope this helps.
-
Hey @"Franco52", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you having this issue only with MS Office files or other types of password protected files as well? Have you tried through a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps? Let me know what you find.
-
Hey @"gduffydc", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. Can you please give us a few more details on the issue? Why are you not able to access your files? Are you getting some kind of error message? And are you referring to all your Dropbox files or specifically your backup ones? Any additional info would be really…
-
Hey everyone. Even though this issue should be resolved, please try upgrading again through a different browser or a private browsing window. If the issue persists, please let us know.
-
Hey @"cyrus123", is this API related?
-
Hey @"trongo", how are you today? Assuming you have the Dropbox application installed on your computer, all you need to do, is open your Dropbox folder, locate the MS Office file you'd like to edit and directly open and edit it with the corresponding Office app. Any changes you make to the files in your Dropbox folder,…
-
Hey Janz! Do you mean that you cannot access your Dropbox account? Can you click on this link, and let me know if you can access your files from there?
-
Hey @"Frostinite", thanks for the ticket number. I completely understand your frustration. From what I can see, the agent on your case has replied back to you, so please make sure to get back to them, so they can continue assisting you.
