Hey @"LHM1", sorry to jump in here. It seems that this idea already exists on our idea board. You can go ahead and up-vote it to show your support!
-
Hey @"Jeff Chimovitz", sorry to jump in here. I understand you'd like to sync the abbreviations you created using the Breevy app across your computers. After searching a bit online, I was able to find that Breevy can somehow integrate with Dropbox to do this. However, since this is not an official integration with us, I'd…

Hey @"kristinawc", thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community. Is it possible that when you do this, you're not choosing the same folder? If you click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and then on the little folder icon next to your initials/profile pic, are you able to see the updated version of your file? Let me…

Hey @"Sergiolopezfineart", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As a first step, please take a look at this article with some troubleshooting steps, to make sure that everything is set up correctly for backup to be enabled. Let me know how it goes!
-
Hey @"HannahT", sorry to see you're also having trouble with this. Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the error as well?
-
Hey @"monicame", do you see any difference if you quit the Dropbox app and then relaunch it?
-
Hey @"simbashen", thanks for the confirmation. Can we send you an email, so we can look into this?
-
Hey @"Alison12345", are you trying to share the subfolders of an already shared folder or share the parent folder of shared subfolders? And are you the owner of both the parent and subsfolders?
-
Hey @"sk27", you can't really install a previous version of the Dropbox app to your new Mac and even if you could, it will automatically get updated to the newest version eventually. But you don't have to make the files available offline individually, you can do this to your entire Dropbox folder, by right-clicking it and…

Thanks for the screenshot, @"iien". Can we actually send you an email, so we can look into this further?
-
Hey @"misterjackpots" and @"F Stuart L.", I sent you both an email, so we can continue from there. 🙂
-
Hey @"bonn88", I just sent you an email, so we can continue from there. Thanks!
-
Hey @"bradipo", thanks for taking the time to write to us. I understand your concern, so I will try to give you as much info as possible. Having your files set to online-only, basically means that your files will be present in the Dropbox folder, as always, they just won't be taking up ****** drive space. You can always…
-
Hey @"andakarv2", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Can you clarify where you're seeing this? Is it the Dropbox website or the desktop app? For the website, the steps to change the language in Russian would be the following: * Click on your initials or profile pic at the upper right corner of the page * Click on…

Hey @"VirageSonore", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Indeed, to get the best experience and to avoid issues, we regularly update active Dropbox accounts automatically to the latest version of the Dropbox app. Apologies for any inconvenience, but thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I will make…

Thank you both for the info here, @"Lyralina" and @"robert1881". Can you please also clarify if you're able to access your files from your Dropbox account online without issues?
-
Hey @"irstm", it seems like I missed your message, my apologies! So, after some investigation, it would seem that Chrome users (mostly) on Windows may experience an issue with crashes or lagging in Paper. Our engineers are aware and are working with the Chromium browser developers towards a solution. In the meantime, you…

I see. Was your photos library backed up to Dropbox? If so, with this version of the app, the photos library isn't supported, as Apple no longer allows it to be stored over cloud-storage services. The library should still be on your computer, but you can also contact Apple to see what needs to happen in this case.

No worries, Anselm, we'll get to the bottom of this together! Since you're using the desktop app, can you check if there's a small Dropbox icon in your system tray? I don't see one in your screenshot, but can you also click the arrow, that shows the hidden icons there, to see if you can find it? And if you do find it, can…

Hi again, @"iien"! I moved your post to this relevant thread. Can you let me know what your current billing location is and if it's the same with the currency you're trying to pay in? Have you tried using a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps?
-
Hey @"Grifo98", which version of macOS are you running and which Dropbox app version? If you've updated to the new Dropbox for macOS version, this is expected behavior. Files added to your Dropbox account from another device or that are shared by another user will default to online-only. You can see more about the expected…

Sorry to jump in here, @"TPerkinsFilm", but since the web uploader has a 50 GB limit, can you perhaps upload these files in smaller batches, to see if that helps?
-
I see, thanks for the update here! If you go to this page and click on "Manage backups", do you see an option to back up the drive there?
-
Hey @"emaruffi", I moved your post to this relevant thread. Can you check Megan's suggestion here, to see if that helps?
-
Hey @"Danimach", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community today. How is your external drive's usage? Is it more than 2 TB at the moment? And if you connect this drive to your PC and you right-click on it, can you see a "Back up to Dropbox" option? Keep me posted!
-
Thanks for the update here, @"PuzzledUser"! If this issue persists with the Dropbox app closed, it means that there's something else that's causing it and not really Dropbox. If you haven't already, can you restart your computer, to see if that helps at all?
-
Thanks for the screenshots, Vince! Can you also please go to the phone's Settings > General > iPhone storage > Dropbox and send us a screenshot of what you see there?
-
Hey @"Zaffranad" and @"Andrusz", sorry to see you're having this issue. Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the issue, so we can have a visual? Also, which version of Dropbox are you currently seeing this issue with?
-
Hey @"gwlgis", thanks for the nudge here. Since the Dropbox application has created and synced all your files to your C drive, I would definitely recommend just deleting the old one and then using the Dropbox preferences to move the Dropbox folder to your D drive. It won't take as long to move the files, as they won't have…

Thanks for the update, Anselm! The Dropbox for S Mode is quite different than the desktop application. The desktop application will sync local versions of your files to a folder named "Dropbox" in your file explorer, whereas the S Mode version behaves more like our mobile app. It shows you a "mirror" of your files in…
