Hey @"JimFuoco", thanks for letting us know about this. Have you tried to restart both your computer and the Dropbox application, to see if that helps?
-
Hey @"fenulagg", I just sent you an email. Make sure to check it out and get back to me, when you have a chance. Thanks!
-
Hey @"Ace_2920", thanks for posting! When you accepted the invitation to join the Dropbox Business team, were you signed in to your personal account? And if so, do you remember choosing to keep your personal files separate from the team? If that's the case, the process would prompt you to create a new Dropbox account for…

Hey @"dancassidy", thanks for joining our Community! After you create and copy the link, are you opening it from the same browser you're already logged into? That might the issue here. Can you copy and open the link using a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if it works? Keep me posted.

Hi there @"washiewash", thanks for reaching out to us. I'm assuming that you're referring to a Dropbox Sign subscription, correct? If you've followed the steps here and couldn't see an option to cancel your Dropbox Sign subscription, you might be signed into the wrong account. In any case, though, can we reach out to you…

Hey @"Jhood89", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community today! You'll actually want to follow these steps below, to resolve this issue: * Uninstall Dropbox. * Rename your existing Dropbox folder (the one in D) to "Dropbox (old)" or similar. * Reinstall Dropbox and select the location that you want for the Dropbox…

Thanks for that, @"Danimach". Can we actually reach out to you via email, so we can investigate this further?
-
Thanks for the update here, Edouard. Can we actually reach out to you via email, so we can look into this internally?
-
Hey @"ace5", thanks for reaching out to us. Apart from what Mark mentioned, if the person who invited you to the folder is not planning to invite you to the team, they can send you a link to the folder instead. A shared link will give you view-only access to the folder, which will not affect your own space. And if you need…
-
Hey @"nis1", thanks for sharing your feedback here. If you installed the Dropbox desktop app on your computer and the installation was complete, you should now have a small Dropbox icon in your system tray. Also, you should have a Dropbox shortcut on your Desktop that will open a Dropbox folder in your file explorer, with…
-
Hey @"Brian Battles", have you recently started seeing this behavior, or has it always been the case when playing audio files on the Dropbox app?
-
Thanks for the screenshots, Ashley! Are you having this issue only when trying to insert photos from your Dropbox folder or other folders on your computer as well? If you close the Dropbox app first and then choose a photo to insert, does it work?
-
Hey @"Luvialazo", thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm not really sure that this has to do with the Dropbox application; you can definitely use it on a macOS Ventura computer. Can you login to your account directly through our website, verify your email there first and then try to sign in to the app, to see if…

Hmm, can you try to save another video again, as a test, and let me know what happens with that?
-
Hey @"Mika2", can we reach out to you via email, so we can have a closer look into this?
-
Hey @"bartb", sorry to see you're having this issue. Is it possible that you have a security app, like an antivirus, VPN, firewall, proxy, etc., that might be interfering with the Dropbox app? If you do, make sure to temporarily disable them, to see if that helps.
-
Sorry to see you're having this issue, @"asjd". Can you please send us a screenshot of the error you're getting, so we can have a visual of this?
-
Hey @"JPCDB", I assume that you have the Excel app installed on your devices, right? When you open the Excel file on the Dropbox app and tap the "open with" button (the one next to the 'copy link' button), what happens?
-
Thanks for that, Nikki! Did you have a chance to try from a different browser or a private browsing window? Can you also clear this browser's cache, to see if that helps at all?
-
Hey @"MeeshLSU", would you mind if we send you an email, so we can take a closer look at this in private?
-
Thanks for that, Brian. Can we actually send you an email, so we can look into this internally?
-
Hey @"marktb1961", thanks for all the info you provided. Is the 3rd party app that you're using to create these files somehow connected to your Dropbox account? Meaning, does it appear in your connected apps page? And are you exporting them to Dropbox from this app, or are they created in the Dropbox folder directly?
-
Hey @"jhedleyj", before we send you an email, would you mind checking your local Dropbox folder, to see if you can locate the backup there? It should be in a folder named "Mac".
-
Hey @"cbucks", thanks for the nudge here. Did this behavior appear recently? Did you make any changes to the computer, when this started happening, like updating your OS, for example? Any additional info you can give us or screenshots showing this, would be really helpful.
-
Hey @"lewisrdixon", like my colleague Jay mentioned, the Dropbox website will download files to the default download location of your browser. Have you searched your browser's settings to find/change that location?
-
Hey Sarah! I'm happy to see that clearing the cache helped. In my case, the video I downloaded, went to Photos, but was this video taken with your phone? Where was it initially uploaded from? Could it be somewhere in your Files app?
-
Hey @"sarah2023", thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just tested this on my own device and I'm not having this issue. How large (in size) are the videos you're trying to download? Can you open the Dropbox app, tap on "account", then on the gear icon and then on "clear cache", to see if that helps? As for the…

Do you mean that you installed the Dropbox Passwords browser extension, @"WCMan"? If you've saved some passwords on the Passwords extension, but you no longer want to use this, you can remove the passwords you saved, by following the steps here.
-
Hey @"James Lynes", do you see some kind of ellipsis button (three dots) next to the folder, that would give you an option to move it?
-
Hey @"Podblast", we appreciate you still being here and please do update us, when you have more info! As for you @"RR88", can you let us know if you have the most recent stable version of the app installed? You can see this info, by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray.
