Thanks, Paul! I just sent you an email, so we'll continue with this there. 🙂

Sorry to jump in here, @"getho". If you didn't manually remove your access, then I think Rich is on to something here. If you were the owner of the folder (owner is the person who initially created the folder, not someone who just adds files to it), then the other members wouldn't be able to remove you from it. So, if you…

Hey @"aihand", I completely understand why you might be concerned with this situation, so allow me to clarify this as best I can and we continue troubleshooting. Regarding the link to your files, this (https://www.dropbox.com/home) is a universal Dropbox link; you were able to access your files from it, because you're…
-
Hey @"Sriram Sundar", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you please try this again from a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if you get a different behavior? Keep me posted.
-
Hi @"justinbenz451", thanks for posting here today! We really appreciate your feedback on this and rest assured that your comments will be passed along to our team. With the links, you should be able to get to the right place, if you replace "x-webdoc://[Alphanumeric string]/" with "https://". I hope this helps.

Hey @"Alexis G.1", thanks for reaching out and sorry to see you're having this issue. If you haven't already, please try the following steps, to see if they help: * Check the spam/junk folder of the email * Add no-reply@dropbox.com to the email contacts * Try to login from a different browser/private browsing window

Hey @"lucidlight", thanks for this info and apologies for the delay here. Can we reach out to you via email, so we can investigate this further?
-
Thanks for the additional info, @"DropD". The thing is that the URLs of the files that are saved in your Dropbox account, won't work for previewing the files on other browsers. The URLs can only work for the browser you're signed into at the time. If you want to share these files, would our shared links feature work for…
-
Thanks! And can you let me know a bit more about the process you're following to create the hyperlinks?
-
Hey @"jjung", sorry to jump in here. Can you please send us some screenshots of how you see these partial zip folders? Also, how are you currently unzipping the folders? The inbuilt function? Can you try using a different service/app to unzip them? Since you're on a Mac computer, you should be able to find one in the app…
-
Hey Bill! The article contains info on what the Dropbox application is and how to install it. Do you need any other info or have other questions?
-
Hey @"athenabeta ", would you mind just downloading and running the installer for the most recent version of the Dropbox app to update it, and see if that helps?
-
I understand where you're coming from, @"tntgalx10", so we'll definitely try to figure this out. Just wanted to clarify, though, that when uploading, there's no issues with file names. Incompatible characters should only be an issue when files are getting synced down to a computer, after being uploaded from another one.…

Hey @"organizerpm123345", thanks for posting your question! Indeed, a Dropbox Business Advanced plan would allow you to comment on a specific time in a video or audio file. You can see more about that feature here. If you have any questions, please let us know.
-
Thanks for your response! Are these hyperlinks from local files (local file paths) or URLs from the files on dropbox.com?
-
Hey @"DropD", thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community. Can you please clarify how you're obtaining these links and on which Dropbox platform? And how are you then using the links? Do you share them with other people? Any additional info on your process, would be really helpful. Thanks!
-
Hey @"fugu1003", in this case, can we send you an email to the address you have here on the Community, so we can investigate this further?
-
Thanks for getting back to me, @"SBabiche". I'm afraid you can't edit an Office file just through the Dropbox app; you'll need the Excel app to edit it and any edits you make, will save to Dropbox as well. Are you having trouble editing the file when following the steps I gave you in my previous reply?
-
Hey @"pdweiser", sorry to jump in here! What my colleague Walter meant, is that Dropbox Sign is available for all our plans, but I think this page will give you the info you're looking for. Also, the smallest team account you can have right now is our Dropbox Business Standard plan. You can compare all of them here. I hope…
-
Hey @"NacNac", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Have you added the logins you're having trouble with to the Dropbox Passwords app? Meaning, if you open the Passwords app and manually add the login of the app in question and then go back to that app, does it autofill your login? Also, when you say that the…
-
Hey @"Bill C.42", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community today! You should be able to accomplish what you want, using the Dropbox desktop application. Even if a computer gets disconnected, syncing will just stop and then resume from where it stopped, when the computer is connected again. It won't sync the files again…
-
Hey @"PT Taps", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you let us know how you upgraded your account? Did you do it directly through our website and paid with your credit card, or through the mobile app and paid through iTunes/Google Play?
-
Hey @"16592181", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Are these hyperlinks saved in your Excel files? Also, what kind of files do these hyperlinks direct to? Other files in your Dropbox folder? Are you only having this issue on your local Dropbox folder or on our website as well? And why are you not able to open them?…
-
Hey @"Roadster1024", thanks for taking the time to post here. We want to let you know that we really appreciate your feedback about this change. I will make sure to pass your comments along to our developers. If you need anything else, please let us know.
-
Thanks for your response, @"emphyrio". Actually, even when enabling backup, the "This PC" folder should remain intact. It's the folders inside (Downloads, Desktop, Documents) that would have been moved to Dropbox. Are you able to locate these folders in Dropbox or your computer? And is backup disabled now?
-
Thanks for reaching out to us, @"Hugo Jobse". We appreciate your feedback here. This is very important to us, so I'll make sure to pass your comments along to our team.
-
Hey @"tntgalx10", we appreciate your feedback here and rest assured that your comments have been passed along to our team about this. However, do you see any difference if you upload the files in smaller batches? Or if you try from a different web browser/private browsing window?
-
Hey @"emphyrio", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Enabling the Dropbox backup feature does move your desktop folders in Dropbox. Have you taken a look at your Dropbox folder to see if you can find a "PC" folder there? You can also take a look at your backups page online. Let me know what you find.
-
Hey @"datamaker", thanks for the additional info and for your feedback here. If I understood correctly, you did find the latest updates on your files, but instead of the original file, the updated versions had "conflicted copy" appended to them. This happens when more than one person or computer is working on the same file…

Thanks for your update here, @"banbikas". Can you try the steps in this article, to see if this folder can be ignored, so that you can continue with the update?
