Hey @"EnAr", have you searched your hard drive for the files, to find where they might be located?
-
Thanks for the update here, @"TurquoiseWoman". The selective sync section will show you all the folders that are available and synced in your Dropbox folder and your account online, will also show you the files and folders that are actually synced to your Dropbox. Can you check the sync status of the app for us? You can do…

Hey @"everlynfrank", thanks for posting your question to the Dropbox Community today! If you leave a shared folder, the owner will not get a notification about it. As they can see who has access to the shared folder, though, if they check the "who can access" section, they'll see that you're no longer a member. But they…

Hey @"dluptonmd" and everyone else that's still having this issue. Have you reached out to Microsoft for more info about this? And if so, what did they get back to you with, please?
-
Hi again, @"Sleepless Digital"! Can you please download and run the Dropbox installer, to see if that does the trick? If not, please uninstall the Dropbox app, restart your computer and then reinstall it and let us know how it goes.
-
Thanks, @"kn03del", I've just sent you an email, so we'll continue there.
-
Hey @"dpell", thanks for joining our Community. I assume you're referring to screenshots on your computer and not your phone, right? If so, you should be able to find the preferences, after clicking on the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar. Click on your initials/profile pic and you'll find the preferences option.…

Hey @"kn03del", what is the exact OS version of your device? If uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn't help, can we send you an email, so we can take a closer look?
-
Hey @"Sandy_D", sorry to jump in here. I understand where you're coming from, so can we reach out to you via email, to investigate this further?
-
Thanks, Carol, we already have it actually. 🙂 I just sent you an email, so we'll continue together there.
-
Thanks for the update, Frank. Did you try to restart your computer, to see if that helps with this error?
-
I see, thanks for trying, Carol. May we reach out to you via email, so we can investigate this further?
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"ABC_999". Can you please let us know which steps you followed to get to the Dropbox version in your screenshot? Were you able to locate the Dropbox icon? And if so, what do you see when hovering over it? We're particularly interested in the sync status. Also, if you can give us the ticket number…
-
Hey @"Secomo", sorry to see you're having a syncing issue. Would you mind giving us some more info on the issue? Has the update to the new Dropbox for macOS version finished? What's the sync status and version of the Dropbox app? You can hover over your Dropbox icon to see this info.
-
Hey @"Frank H.25", thanks for posting to our Community. Is the second Dropbox folder (the D:\Dropbox\Dropbox) the one that has all your files and is actually syncing? If that's the case, try renaming the first Dropbox folder to something else, to see if that helps. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"wmitchell1991". No incidents have been reported for our systems today, so this is quite strange indeed. Are you having this issue only with Word for the web or other MS Office web apps as well? And is it affecting all your Word files or specific ones? Are you having any issues…

The plan page actually shows the used data up to 1 decimal place, that's why it's rounded up to 2.6 GB.
-
Hey @"dpawson", would you mind giving us a few more details about your issue? If you can send us screenshots, so we can have a visual of the issue, that would also be greatly appreciated.
-
Hi there, @"JuanaM". Can you check that your device has all the correct system requirements for the Dropbox app to be installed?
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"Basinski"! What is the email address of the sender of this email?
-
Hey @"Charles S", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Certain file types cannot be previewed on our website and .hevc files should be one of them, but were you able to preview them before? Do you get the same behavior with other browsers as well? And you should be able to see a little camera icon right above…
-
Sorry to see you're having this issue, @"JHOLLAND". Firstly, can you let me know the sync status and version of the Dropbox app on your computer? You can see that by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar. Is only the option to make your files online-only that's missing, or are you missing all Dropbox…
-
We appreciate your feedback here, @"phasetech". I'd also suggest checking your Dropbox bandwidth settings, to make sure your download speed is not limited.
-
Hey @"taskman", to calculate the size of your folders, you'll need to go to the All files page, hover your mouse right on the left of the "who can access" column header, click the arrow and choose "size". This should allow you to see the "calculate size" option after clicking the "..." (ellipsis).
-
Hey @"David W.136", thanks for bringing this to our attention. What's the current sync status, when hovering over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar? Also, if you try and move one of those files out of the Dropbox folder and then back in, does that help it sync?
-
Thanks for the update, Ced and @" GPF Campaigns". Have either of you tried to use the Dropbox desktop app for your uploads instead?
-
I'm happy that we at least solved the issue, @"cloudres". If you come across this or any other issue again, please let us know. Have a great week ahead!
-
Hey @"Sleepless Digital", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are these update requests about the Dropbox app? Can you please send us a screenshot, so we can have a look at this? Thanks in advance!
-
Hey @"TurquoiseWoman", thanks for letting us know about this. Do you think that this is connected to Dropbox somehow? These icons that are missing, were they perhaps shortcuts to folders in your Dropbox folder? And would you mind sending us a screenshot, so we can have a visual of the situation as well? Thanks in advance!

Hey @"greg1245", thanks for reaching out to our Community. I just tested this on my own device and if I actually tap to hide the options in the sections above and under the photo, I don't have to tap for each photo every time I swipe to the next one. Are you using an iOS or Android phone? And are you using the most recent…
