Hey @"x-yuri", if you click on your Dropbox icon, then on your initials/profile pic and then on "view sync issues", do you see anything reported there?
-
Sure thing, @"JCplusULTRA", if the issue comes back, please let us know!
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"Chris I.5". What do you see when you try to open the pro files through the Dropbox app on your Android tablet? Are you getting some kind of error message?
-
Hey @"lulu_optics", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. This doesn't have to do with your own space, it's more likely to do with how much content the website can handle for this specific action. Are the files devided into subfolders? If so, I'd suggest copying them in batches, to see if that helps. Let me…
-
Hey @"vmartin2023", the events page will show you all the additions/deletions/edits/moves made in the account up to a certain date depending on your version history. So, what does the events page show about this particular folder?
-
Hey @"savedthroughfaith01", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Can you let us know exactly what you're having an issue with? Do you have any questions? Let me know.
-
Hey @"Carlitoxbrown", thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid that Dropbox doesn’t support files that are password-protected in other applications, like Office files. You'll need to download the file, if you'd like to view it and keep the password protection. You can read more about this here.
-
Hey @"Peter D.62", thanks for taking the time to post here today. Can you let us know what kind of issue you're having switching your files to "available offline"? If you want all of them to be available offline, have you tried right-clicking the Dropbox folder itself and choosing "make available offline"? Or do you not…
-
Hey @"sam-e", thanks for bringing this to our attention. So, does this happen only when you try to open the files locally in the Dropbox folder on your computer? What is your computer's OS version and what's the version and status of the Dropbox app? You can see the latter, by hovering over your Dropbox icon. Let me know…
-
Hey @"Bylgja", sorry to see you're having trouble accessing your account. When was the last time that you logged in to it? Do you perhaps remember the password for it?
-
Hey @"mlcwade", how did you initially connect Adobe Bridge to your Dropbox? Is it possible that it might need to be reconnected?
-
Hey @"Diarmaid C.", sorry to see you're having trouble with this. If you close the Dropbox app and then relaunch it from your applications folder, does it help with the error?
-
Thanks for the update on this, @"JCplusULTRA". It seems that you're running a beta version of the app, which is experimental, so that might be causing this. Can you turn off the "early releases" option here and then simply reinstall the app and see if that helps?
-
Sorry to hear about this issue, @"rcrath". After you rebooted and you got the Dropbox icon (indicator), were you able to go through the preferences, to set up selective sync and see if it helps? Or perhaps you can try the commands here?
-
Thanks for the ticket number, @"djkdjkdjk"! If you try OCR with a different PDF file, that does have text in it, but is not scanned, does it work?
-
Hey @"Kinzy", did the application finish syncing eventually? Or is it still stuck on that same number of files?
-
I understand where you're coming from, @"kd69". Rest assured that I will pass your comments along to our team, so thanks for the feedback. Let us know if you need anything else.
-
Hey @"nunoise", sorry to jump in here! The update is currently available to macOS 12.5 or later, so you will not need to update the Catalina machine to the new Dropbox for macOS version.
-
Can you clarify what else you need help with?
-
Hey @"hteran", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you remember following the update process to the new Dropbox for macOS version? Is syncing completely stuck or just moving really slowly? If it's completely stuck, try the steps in this article as well, to see if they help. Let me know how it goes.
-
Hey @"djkdjkdjk", thanks for reaching out to us today. Actually, with a Dropbox Plus subscription, you should be able to use OCR for PDF files, however, it won't work for PDFs that have text metadata, like scanned or faxed files, so that is probably the culprit here. Would you mind sending us the ticket number of your…
-
Hey @"JCplusULTRA", thanks for joining our Community. Quite a strange issue here, but let's see what we can find out. Does closing the Dropbox app also stop this issue or only uninstalling it? Also, if you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, what's the sync status and version of the app? Let me know and we'll…
-
Thanks for that, Graeme! If you click on that, does it give you an option to sign in? If not, can you send me a screenshot, so I can have a visual of this as well, please?
-
Does syncing appear to be stuck on this specific number of files? Or is it syncing, just very slowly? If it's completely stuck, can you try these steps, to see if they help?
-
Hey @"AnupKarnani"! You don't need to create a new account to change your email address on Dropbox. Did you try to login to the existing account that already uses the email you were trying to use? Does it have any files in it that you need? If not, you can delete it and this will free up the email address. Once the email…
-
Hey @"SNupnorth", thanks for reaching out. If I understand correctly, you have two Dropbox accounts which share files between one another and you'd like to delete one of the accounts, without affecting the files in the other one, is that right? Are the files you're sharing inside folders? If so, before deleting the…
-
Thanks for the update here, @"Glenn M.5". You can try clearing Safari's cache to see if that helps as well.
-
Thanks, @"meemeemux" for the additional info. Since you have a subscription, if your deletions are within the restoration window for your plan, you can contact our support team, to request assistance with a rollback of your account.
-
Hey @"MarcelloSax64", unfortunately, we're not able to screenshare through the Community; is it possible to send screenshots of anything you might be having trouble with, so we can try to help you?
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"chauptman1". From what I can understand from your screenshots, it seems that you're using Dropbox for S Mode and not the Dropbox desktop client. Does this file appear as a .xlsx file when you look at it in your account on dropbox.com? If you rename it there from .xlsx to .xls, are you able to open…
