Can you also let me know what kind of device you're using? Is it a Windows or a Mac one? and which OS version?
-
Thanks, @"vp5". And just to confirm, the file names do not contain any of the characters listed here, right?
-
Hey @"fannafreyr", allow me to pitch in as well. While you can't share the actual (parent) folder with your name on it, you should be able to share the contents, so each of the folders inside. Keep in mind, though, that these are two different Dropbox folders from different Dropbox accounts at this point. So, sharing the…

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"vp5". Let's see what we can find out about this. Are you able to access the files from your Dropbox account on the website as normal? Which version of the Dropbox application are you using? You can see that, when you hover over your Dropbox icon, along with the sync status. Let…

Yes, I was referring to the remaining money, it will get refunded back to you. 🙂
-
Hey @"virtualgaintechnologies", yes indeed, as mentioned, if you upgrade to Dropbox Business, any remaining credit on the Plus plan will be refunded to your payment method. I hope this clarifies things, but let me know if you have any more questions!
-
Hey @"bd88", thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community. The Dropbox application is an auto-updating app, so even if you were to install such an older version, it would have to update eventually. If you'd like, we can however, troubleshoot the most recent version that is giving you an issue. Firstly, can you please…
-
Hmm, are you uploading them directly from the SD card? If you move or copy them to your computer first and then to Dropbox, how do they look?
-
Thanks @"Riqiv" and @"Ryan22", I've just sent you an email, so we'll continue investigating this there.
-
A screenshot of the folder opening behind the start menu, for example, would have been helpful. Also, are the pinned folders, folders from your Dropbox? Or does this happen with any kind of folder you pin to your start menu?
-
Hey @"Simran97", if you click on the Dropbox icon, then on the gear icon, then on "preferences", and then go to the "account" tab, are you able to sign in from there?
-
Happy to hear that, @"Ian_A6"! If your issue returns or if you have any questions, do let us know. Have a wonderful day!
-
Happy to help, Greg! If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Have a great day!
-
Hey @"Tshelor", thanks for these ticket numbers. I can see that you've actually reached out to our support team multiple times about this. Since your issue has to do with account specific info, for security reasons, there's not much we can do on our side, here on the Community. I have, however, passed your comments along…
-
Hey again, @"alonzo86". So just to confirm, the issue re-appeared, even after you did the advanced reinstall, right?
-
Sorry to hear that, @"JCplusULTRA". Can you actually send us a screenshot, to show us how it appears for you?
-
Hey @"Koorbloh", would you mind sending over a screenshot of the icon, so we can have a visual of this as well?
-
Hey @"Mario67", thanks for joining our Community. I'm afraid that if your files were deleted about a year ago, they can no longer be retrieved through Dropbox. The restoration window for individual accounts is up to 180 days, depending on your plan. For free accounts it's 30 days. Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful with…
-
Hey @"virtualgaintechnologies", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Like Rich mentioned, shared folders take up space in each member's account, so your other members would need space as well. If you want them to upload files to your account, without affecting their quotas, you can send them a file request…
-
Hey Greg! Will you moving the 'Japan' folder from Documents to your Dropbox folder, or copying it? If you move it, the folder will be removed from its original location and added to Dropbox, so it will only take up 50MB on your drive. If you copy it, you'll have it both in the original location and in Dropbox, so it will…
-
Hey @"sfsdfd", thanks for taking the time to provide additional info on your query. Allow me to clarify that even if you update your Dropbox application to Dropbox for macOS on File Provider, you'll still have the option to have your files available offline. Even if you don't make the choice to initially sync them as…
-
Thanks for clarifying your way of sharing/uploading the files, Dylan. If you upload them to your Dropbox, do the previews look okay on your end?
-
Happy to hear that, @"copwriter". If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a great day!
-
Hey @"CrankyD", if all files in the Dropbox folder need to stay available offline at all times, there's not much we can suggest. They can take a look at this article, to make sure that the bandwidth that Dropbox uses is not limited, so that syncing works as fast as possible. Other than that, they need to keep in mind that…
-
Thanks for the additional info, @"Rodger C.". So, if I understand correctly, you're accessing the shared folder and are uploading your files through our website, right? Where is the other member of the folder accessing it from? The website as well? Could it be possible that they've installed the Dropbox application and are…
-
Thanks for trying, @"Abeard3". Can you check if you have the purchase receipt in your email about the Dropbox Plus payment? If you have it, let me know, so I can send you an email in order to investigate further.
-
Hey @"GregInLondon", sorry to jump in here. If you're not using Dropbox backup and are just talking about a simple folder that you've placed in your Dropbox folder, which has synced to your account online, deleting a copy of this folder on a different location, won't affect the folder in Dropbox. As long as the folder…
-
Hey @"Tagri", if I understand correctly, you have an email address that's used only for Dropbox, right? What I'm not really clear on, is if you have access to this email address, but are not receiving the 6-digit code, or if you don't have access to the address at all; can you please clarify?
-
Hey @"knic024", is your Dropbox folder currently on your internal or an external drive?
-
Hey @"sfsdfd" and @"Darrin Harris F", can you please send us a screenshot of the setting each of you is mentioning, so we can have a clear understanding of your query?
