Hey @"Chemist", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community with your question. If you'd like to sync your computers with a new Dropbox account, what you need to do is sign out of the old account through the Dropbox app preferences and then sign in to your new one. You can find the steps on how to sign out of the…

Hey @"tansie", thanks for reaching out to us. It sounds like you might have enabled hidden files for your computer and that's why you're able to see the .dropbox file etc. Can you try disabling that, to see if it helps? Keep me posted.

Hey @"ofoliver", thanks for taking the time to post to the Dropbox Community. I understand you're having some trouble with the Dropbox for macOS on File Provider app and we really appreciate your feedback on this. I see that the app is trying to sync a specific number of files; has it been stuck like this, or is it…

Hey @"jhk1", sorry to hear that your Camera Uploads isn't working. Have you tried turning the feature off and then on from the app's settings or uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
-
Hey @"Karima Khan", sorry to hear about this. I would suggest opening a private browsing/incognito window on your browser and going to this page. From there, you can submit a help request to our support team directly, so they can assist you further. Once you have the ticket number, please send it here as well, so we can…

Hey @"Bach Huy Hoang", if you go through s restored file's version history, you should see more info, like the name of the device the files were deleted from; perhaps that will give you some more insight as to what happened.

Thanks, @"wthiwwdb", I just emailed you and I'll see you there.
-
Hey @"Mamito", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You're referring to audio files that you've added to your Dropbox account and are trying to play them within the Dropbox app, right? If clearing the cache didn't help, can you try saving the files to the device and see if they play okay there? Keep me posted.

Thanks for your feedback here, @"itissid". Can we send you an email, so we can take a deeper look?
-
Hey @"SewLucky", thanks for joining our Community. At the moment, there's no way to scan and bulk delete empty folders in your Dropbox account. You can, however, post this in our ideas section, for other users to up-vote! Before posting, please make sure to take a look at Emma's tips for submitting an idea. Let me know if…

Can you make sure to hover over or click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar by the WiFi icon, to let us know the exact sync status, though, please? Is it up to date?

Thanks for the screenshots, @"raymyrtle". So, does the backup of your computer still appear as disabled in your backups page here? As for your capacity, while you might have unlimited space to backup your computer, your Dropbox space (the place outside the backup folders, which is for the rest of your Dropbox files) is not…
-
Hey @"CharlesZhou", I just checked this on my end; I'm on the latest version of the Dropbox app and I don't have any issues searching files. Thanks for the screenshot, Cressida. It appears that it's shared files that are taking up your space. You might want to use the steps here, to calculate the size of your folders; this should give you an idea of which ones are taking up the space. If you want to leave a shared folder without affecting the other members, you…

Hey @"mlm", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. This sounds like a Family Tree Maker issue, but let's see what we can find. -
Hey @"Keltrin", sorry to hear about this. Can you give me the ticket number of the email you sent?
-
Hey @"jeroenws", thanks for posting your question today. When you edit/delete files in the folders that you back up to Dropbox, the changes are backed up as well. If you're not sure about using the feature, I would suggest testing it out with one of the folders first, just to see how it works. You can choose which folders…
