I understand where you're coming from, Jesus. Unfortunately, the reply times over email may differ to the reply times over live support or social media, but I've gone ahead and raised the priority of your case, so the agent working on it, will be replying to you the soonest possible.

No worries, @"Rapoo", I just reached out to you, so we'll continue working on this there. 🙂
-
Hey @"Eleven01", thanks for your post. May I ask, are you using the Dropbox desktop app? And when you deleted these local files, did you delete them from within the Dropbox folder? If that's the case, it's expected for the files to be deleted both locally and from your Dropbox account, as the desktop app is syncing these…

------ Hey @"volammk", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Are you…

Hey @"Festered4rd5tfgvhb", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Looking at the path of the folder you're in on the screenshot you sent us, I'd like to know more about the location of the actual Dropbox folder. If you open the Dropbox preferences and go to the "sync" tab, is the location of your Dropbox folder…

Hey @"SUKAVINA", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using a Windows or Mac computer? And which OS version? Do you currently have all your files set to "available offline" (green check marks)? Or do you have some that are "online-only" as well (gray cloud icons)? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Hey @"Jesus Rodriguez", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. I understand this can be frustrating, however, you mentioned that you're already in contact with our restorations team, who are the only people that can actually help you with this issue, as they are the ones that can investigate what's happening in…
-
Thanks for the additional info, @"Rapoo". Can we send you an email, so that we can investigate this on a deeper level?
-
Hey @"jay h.5", you'll soon be getting a reply from Nancy, so keep an eye on the email chain.
-
Hey @"Simon Heywood", the team is still working on this issue, however, can you try to re-upload any files that need transcribing with a different name, to see if that helps?
-
Do you see the same behavior with smaller files as well? Also, can you check if you have at least 500mb of available storage space on the device itself, to make sure the app is working correctly?
-
Thanks, Richard. Mind if we reach out to you via email, so we can investigate this further internally?
-
Hey @"Freelancerjourn", if you're still having this issue, can we send you an email, so we can take a closer look into this internally?
-
Hey Steve, is your Documents folder currently backed up to Dropbox? I don't see the Dropbox folder in your screenshot; can you check the files in it, to see if they are indeed set to 'online-only'?
-
Thanks for the additional info, Jon. Once you have an update about the process suggested by Nancy above, let us know!
-
Thanks for letting us know about this, @"Rapoo". It's very strange that this is caused by Dropbox. What is your Windows version? Also, what is the sync status and version of the Dropbox app? You can hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray for this info. Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Hey @"Ryan429", sorry to hear about this. That is pretty strange and I can't duplicate it on my end - everything seems to be working for me. Is this a very large upload in general? Multiple files and large ones? Is it through Camera Uploads or are you uploading files manually? Keep me posted.
-
Hey @"smcllr", sorry to hear about this. Did you deselect the folders in the selective sync preferences before syncing started or after? If you did it after syncing had already started, this is expected, I'm afraid. If syncing is still ongoing, both processes should be running now at the same time, so it might take some…
-
Hey @"touxin", thanks for posting your question to the Dropbox Community. I would actually suggest our own PDF editor for this job. You can read more about how it works here. Let me know if you have any questions!
-
Hey @"lazyfrog", thanks for chiming in! While the Dropbox Backup Beta allows you to back more folders up to Dropbox, you still can only choose from folders in your home folder, so if the Dropbox application is installed on the C: drive, you can only back up folders from there. I hope this clarifies things and I will of…
-
Hey @"DBuser123", thanks for letting us know about this. Are you referring to scanning Dropbox Paper docs into PDF files? Can you please describe the steps you're following to accomplish this? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Hey @"EireBorne", thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just checked this on my own device and it seems to be working fine for me (iOS 17.2.1). What kind of device are you using? Are you on the most recent version of both your OS and the Dropbox app? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Happy Monday, Graeme! They should be in a folder named "Camera Uploads". Can you check and let me know if you can find them?
-
Hey @"Luworth", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. If you right-click on your files, do you see a "make available offline" option that you can choose? Does that help sync your files down to your device again? Also, are you currently using the Dropbox for macOS on File Provider version of the app, with the Dropbox…
-
Hey @"atcinla", happy Monday. Can you please request the desktop version of the Dropbox Community page on your mobile browser, in order to see the camera button, to upload a screenshot of what you see when you open one of those links?
-
Hey anonymous, thanks for reaching out to us. Indeed, the location info does not appear in the metadata info for the photos taken from an Android phone, neither on the mobile app, nor on the Dropbox website. I would suggest taking a look at Emma's tips first and then you can submit this as an idea for other users to…
-
Hey @"hwcasey", welcome to our Community! I assume you're referring to the Dropbox website, correct? You should be able to sort your files by (date) "modified", if you click on the "modified" column header in your all files page. Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions.
-
Hey @"fabrizio macaione", thanks for posting to our Community. Can you give us some more details on the promotion you're referring to?
-
Hey @"EcoEnergy4Steve", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you let us know what the sync status and version of the Dropbox app on your computer is? You can hover over the Dropbox icon for this info. Also, do the files in your Dropbox folder all have gray cloud icons on them? If you right-click them and choose…

It is strange indeed, but can you confirm that you've checked all the events from the events page? Perhaps the photos in question were deleted along with the other files by mistake?
