Thanks for the additional info and screenshots, @"frnkc-6". I'm happy to see that you're no longer receiving these pop-up notifications. The sync status of the Dropbox app seem to be "up to date" as well, so hopefully, that will be the end of it. If the issue does return, though, let us know!

Hey there, @"Contoured_TL", and sorry to hear about this. Can you please send us the ticket number of your communication with our support team, so we can investigate a bit? Thanks in advance.
-
Hi there, @"frnkc-6", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Which version of the Dropbox app do you currently have installed? You can see that by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray. Keep me posted and we'll go from there.
-
What kind of sorting have you chosen for the files, @"jazzbby"? Is it possible to send us a screenshot? You can hide the file names of course, if you want.
-
Hey @"rosita1", sorry to hear about this. Were the files deleted, or was the account itself deleted and you were prompted to create a new one? Did you receive an email that your account would be disabled due to inactivity?
-
Hi there, @"RexNguyen", thanks for your post. I removed your links, to keep your account from having traffic issues. Can you take a look at this thread and let me know if you can find any useful info? Thanks.
-
Hi again @"pizzamargherita"! I'm afraid there's no option to delete all shared links or delete links in bulk. Moving the images in a folder won't affect the already existing links either; they'll need to be deleted as well. Feel free to take a look at Emma's tips here and then post this as an idea in our Ideas section for…

Hi again, @"Phlurim". From what you're describing, it seems that the drag & drop action on your computer is copying the file in question, instead of simply moving it. This is an action that's controlled by your OS, not Dropbox. Additionally, if you copied the file from Dropbox to the other location in your Finder, these…

Hey @"logjammin75", sorry to jump in here as well. At this point, you're replying to this thread from three different Community profiles; one is @"logjammin75", the other is @"logjammin" and the third is @"logjammin". Community profiles are connected to Dropbox accounts, so that means you have three different Dropbox…

Hey @"angelsmessenger", can you test this with other files, to see if they give you an issue too? And regarding the extensions, I would suggest disabling them, to see if that fixes the issue. If it does, try re-enabling them one at a time, until you're not able to upload the file, to see which one is causing the issue.
-
Hey @"Ashley SYC", thanks for the additional info and the screenshots. From the screenshots I can see that there are no Dropbox options in your right-click menu at all and you don't have syncing icons on your files in the Dropbox folder either. Is it possible that the Dropbox app is not currently running? Except for the…

Thanks @"NickKon". Just wanted to ping you here to let you know that http://em-s.dropbox.com/ is a valid email domain from Dropbox and that we've passed your feedback to our team. If we have any kind of update for you, we'll follow up on this thread. Thanks.
-
Hey @"Sem de Grooot", thanks for reaching out to us. Are you having this issue only with zip files or other types of files as well? Have you tried to download them using a different browser, to see if that helps? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Hi there, @"Rbehring", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is this error coming from the Dropbox app? If you could send us a screenshot, so we can have a visual, I would really appreciate it. Also, are you trying to add files to a shared folder or is it perhaps a (Dropbox Business) team folder? Keep me posted.
-
Hey @"OmniR1", thanks for taking the time to post on the Dropbox Community. At the moment, there's no feature available that would allow you to disable multiple comments on multiple files at once. If you want, you can take a look at Emma's tips here and then go over to our Ideas section, to post your idea for other users…
-
Hey @"DrewOstendorf", thanks for your reply here. If the charge lookup isn't working for you, I'd suggest reaching out to our support team directly. You'll need to open a private browsing/incognito window and go to this page. In the "I want to look up information related to:" section choose "other", fill out the form and…
-
Hey @"pizzamargherita", thanks for posting your question to our Community! If you'd like to delete any shared links you have created from your account, you'll need to go to your Shared page here. You can click on the "..." (ellipsis) button next to each link, to delete it. I hope this helps, but if you have any questions,…

Thanks for keeping us updated on this, @"TN4"! Are you still having this issue @"GloriMM" and @"fossor" or is it working for you as well?
-
Have you checked the activity for that file, @"omahawildcat"?
-
Thanks, @"jgmason"! I just emailed you, so we'll continue there. 🙂
-
Hey @"Phlurim", just to clarify, do you currently have the Dropbox desktop app installed on your computer? If you have it, you should have a folder named "Dropbox" in your Finder, which should have all your Dropbox files. This would allow you to simply move the files out of the Dropbox folder, to a location you prefer, to…
-
Hey @"Siska", sorry to hear about this. Have you tried clearing the Dropbox app's cache, to see if that helps? You can find the steps to do that here.
-
Hey @"Lancey", would you mind sending us a screenshot of where you see the error message you mentioned, so we can have a visual?
-
Thanks for the clarification, @"JKleinman"! Is everyone using/sharing the same Dropbox account at your workplace? Or do you all have your own Dropbox accounts and are sharing folders with each other?
-
Hey @"Thomas35", are you having this issue on the Dropbox mobile app? If so, keep in mind that you can only upload files through the mobile app, not folders. About the screenshot Nancy asked for, if you're on your phone, you might need to request the desktop version of the Community page to see the upload icon to attach…
-
Hey @"MettaSong", sorry to hear about this. Pausing syncing won't do the trick, because at some point you'll need to unpause, so the sync will need to finish anyway. I think the next best thing here is to unlink the computer from your account, delete the Dropbox folder and the Dropbox app and reinstall it again from…
-
Hey @"jgmason", thanks for reaching out to us. Can we send you an email, so we can take a closer look into your issue? Thanks.
-
Welcome to our Community, @"palmahermosa". Is the Dropbox application installed on this computer? If so, check the "Account" tab in the preferences, to see if there's a Dropbox account linked to it. If there is one, you can sign out of the app, to disconnect the Dropbox folder. Try to delete it one more time and if you…
-
Hi there, @"JKleinman", thanks for taking the time to post on the Dropbox Community. The first thing I'd suggest here, is to check whether or not you can see the files in the account online. If you can see them online, but not in your local Dropbox folder, this is probably a syncing issue of the Dropbox app on your…

Hey @"Kardde", thanks for joining our Community. This is quite strange indeed, but let's look into it. You mentioned that the photos were wiped; did you check your deleted files page and your events page, to see if you can locate the deletions? If you can, try restoring the photos and then check the version history of the…
