Glad to hear that did the trick @"paultopia"! We're just a post away if you need anything else. 😁 Hope you have a great weekend ahead!

Hey Pamela S.12! While there isn't an option to stop the download exactly, while the download is in progress you can select the file/folder, tap the "...", and then choose "Remove from device". This will stop the download and remove any of the files that were downloaded already. Hope this helps!

Thanks for reaching out to us here @"iReyes"! When you have the chance, please take a look at the info Walter provided here. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a nudge here. Cheers!
-
Thanks for the screencast @"MBarker202"! Could you just confirm for us which version of the Chrome browser you have installed at the moment?
-
You can reset the file path for these folders with the steps below: * Navigate to the system's Desktop/Downloads/Documents folders via the File Explorer (not the folders in Dropbox). * Right click the folder and choose "Properties". * Go to the "Location" tab. * Choose to reset the default folder path. If you're having…

In this case @"mrr17", it might be worth checking with Microsoft if these files were created by the Excel app, or if they are of some use to the app.
-
Hey there @"halmaclean", just dropping in here! While this isn't currently a feature, I can suggest posting this in our dedicated area of the Community here, as a request for this to be added. That area allows others to browse the suggestions made by others and show their support by upvoting. Hope this helps to some extent!

Thanks for clarifying that @"TitanxD"! The "My PC" folder doesn't mean that the Dropbox app has backed up the entire computer to Dropbox. Within this folder, you will see the computer folders that had synced with Dropbox. Since you mentioned that you already reset the default folder path for Download and Documents, can you…

I hope you're well today @"dweinapple", thanks for joining the discussion! You can navigate to the Dropbox folder through your Finder, and add it to the Favorites sidebar with the steps outlined here. If you have any trouble with this, let me know and I'd be happy to help further. Cheers!
-
Sorry to hear about that @"Morgan101010"! Can you clarify for me please, where did you check the timezone settings? Was this from your device settings, or from your Dropbox account?
-
I'm glad to hear that info was of some help @"MBernhardt"! If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to give us another nudge here. Hope you have a great rest of your week!

There isn't a limitation from Dropbox that would prevent you from doing this @"dodomolinari". Please just bear in mind that in doing this, if you reference a file with the file path "C:\Daphne\Dropbox\Folder\File", that the hyperlink added into the Excel cell will only work when using the local Excel app on your computer.…

Which app are you using to try and edit the file, @"yvettescott"? The reason I'm wondering this is that you'll need Adobe Reader 8 or later to be able to fill in the form, as outlined here. The settings of the file shouldn't be affected when uploading/downloading in Dropbox, so this info will be very useful to know in…
-
Can you let me know if you're trying to edit the file through the website, using an integration @"yvettescott"? Or are the fields not available after the file is downloaded from Dropbox? In this case, please let me know which app you're using to open the file.
-
Hi there @"juerg", thanks for reaching out to us here! Could you clarify for me, are you using a Dropbox Business plan, or is each member using a personal plan? Also, is this main folder a Team folder (with the building icon) or a shared folder (with a silhouette of 2 people)? Let me know and we can take it from there!
-
Thanks for posting @"MBernhardt"! You have a very similar question to the OP in this topic, so I've just moved your message so that I can point you to have a look at the info Jay posted above. Since enabling the backup on both devices would result in two backup folders, perhaps on the second device I can suggest creating…
-
Hey @"Deadtree22"! Could you try using an incognito window instead when downloading to see if there's a difference there? Also, did you have the chance to try using another app to play the video as Lusil suggested?
-
I'm afraid that if the account has already been closed @"lessly", that we wouldn't be able to restore the account to the same state as it was before. If you'd like to, you could open up a new account with the same email address. However, it will be a brand new account without any associated to the previous account. Hope…

They mentioned that they already have a ticket open with our team, so there is no need to open a new ticket at this point @"Guillaume DXB". I'm simply asking for the ticket reference number so I can look into this.
-
Would you mind sharing your ticket number (eg. #1234567) with us @"Pieroman", so that we can have a look at this from our side?
-
Sorry to hear that @"Maemae76"! Just to clarify, were you not able to reset the PIN with the steps under "Reset your PIN" in the article Jay linked above? If not, is this due to not receiving the reset email? Let me know where you're running into an issue with this!
-
Hmmm, it is strange indeed @"ProHome". Since it's just on this device, and with both Dropbox and Google Drive, I would suggest reaching out to Apple Support to see if they can shed any light on this. I did try and replicate this on my side, but didn't receive the same error. Sorry that I can't be of much more help with…

Thanks for your updates here! We'd like to have a look into this further with you, so I've reached out to the email linked with your profile here. When you have the chance, please check your inbox for my message and we can take it from there. Cheers!
-
Thanks for joining us here @"janvdw"! Can you let me know if this occurs only within the Dropbox folder? If possible, can you see if this happens at all outside of the Dropbox folder while the app is running and not?
-
Thanks for the update @"ProHome". Can you try disabling Dropbox as a location within the Files app, rebooting your device, and then re-enabling it? You can do this from the Files app by tapping the "..." option in the top right of the left panel, and then toggling off/on the option next to Dropbox.
-
Hi there @"SRoyPC", thanks for reaching out to us here! Can you let me know if the info here helps at all? Perhaps delaying the startup of the app might help with the error you're getting on system startup. Let me know how it goes!
-
Thanks for joining us here @"Epett77"! I've just moved your post here, so please check out the info provided here when you have the chance. Let me know if you have any questions!
-
Thanks for those screenshots @"ProHome"! Out of curiosity, if you navigate to the Files app and download one of the files from Dropbox locally (by tapping on the file), are you then able to see it when choosing to upload the file to the website? Otherwise, are you only able to choose files stored locally on your device,…
-
Hi there @"ProHome", I hope you're having a good day so far! Just to make sure that we're on the same page, can you let me know the exact steps you're taking when you run into this issue? Also, please send me a screenshot of the error that you're getting. Keep me posted!

Hey @"Rxn", thanks for the screenshots! The desktop and taskbar icons are shortcuts for opening the Dropbox app itself on your computer. They would be for the same app installation, they're just different entry points. Also, it seems that the NYU Dropbox is the folder that's currently syncing with the desktop app. The…
