Can you explain the difference between Smart Sync and Selective Sync?
I'm considering the Basic plan for Dropbox. I briefly read the differences between Selective Sync and Smart Sync. Is Selective Sync a "hot sync", in that the dropbox folder is continually monitored and sync to the "listening" folders? Is there a monthly charge for Selective Sync? If so, please advise.

Dropbox icon greyed out
My DropBox icon is greyed out. I have unistalled and reinstalled with no luck. When I click on the greyed out icon, a box opens and on the bottom left is a circle that states "connecting..." but it never does. Please help, it's greatly appreciated.

Ubuntu system tray icon disappeared, can't access preferences
I am running the deskop app on Ubuntu 18.04 and my system tray disappeared altogether. Dropbox is still syncing -- new fils show up immediately -- but I need to update the sync location and I can't do that without the indicator icon.
