Hey @"AirSix", thanks for the rapid response! If the app's preferences state that this is the path of your folder, I'd trust that. However here is what I would personally do: I would try adding a test file to each of the paths you mentioned above. The only path that should be syncing with your account online, should be…

I see where you're coming from @"FrequentUser". However, in order for me to be able to share more, I'd need to have some account-specific info on my end, in order to determine what might have caused it. Thus why I believe it's best to ask our Support about this. I'm also going to be leaving an internal comment to your…

Hey @"AirSix", let's jump right into this! You can double-check the app's preferences right here, and see where your Dropbox folder is syncing, and its actual path. Do you see the path being the CloudStorage location or (the old /myname/ location)? Keep me posted!

Hey @"FrequentUser", thanks for the ticket number reference! You can have a more thorough look into this article. And I'd also suggest that you directly ask the agent working on your case, to share some additional info with you. Keep in mind that your links can be banned for one of the following reasons: -The link or…

-
Hey, Liz! Give that a go, and let me know how it goes!
-
Hey @"Liz Falconer", if you use the app, instead of our website, do you get any errors then? If I were you, I'd try clearing the app's cache, and also try to upload the content on a different path, than the one you're trying to at the moment.
-
Hey @"jpgraham", I'd more than love a screenshot, in order for me to have a visual, in order to guide you and see what you're seeing on your end.
-
Hey @"jackybe67", odd that the app states it's up to date, but it clearly shows some syncing files. Have you tried checking its syncing status using these steps? It might sound trivial, but have you tried re-starting your device at all?
-
Hey @"jpgraham", welcome to our Community! Would you mind clarifying which one of our platforms you're using when this happens? Do you use our website, desktop app or mobile app? If you have any screenshots demonstrating this, in order for me to have a visual, that'd help. Keep me posted!

Awesome news @"7rjames3"! If you need anything else, give us a shout! 😎
-
Hey @"JujuT", sorry for the delay, I was looking at this internally. Do you still face the same issue on your end, with these emails?
-
Got it, thanks for the info @"7rjames3"! Based on everything you mentioned, you should be safe to delete the old Dropbox folder, and keep the new one. It seems the app is syncing there. Have you tried signing out of the app, restarting your device and then sign back in?
-
Hey @"7rjames3", thanks for the heads up! Odd indeed. When you locate your little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi on your menu bar and click on it, you should have a little folder icon on the top right. If you click there, which folder does the app re-direct you to?
-
Hey @"-caffeinated-", thanks for the reply! It sounds like you're using a beta version of the app, which could be the culprit here. I'd personally suggest that you go into your account settings on the Dropbox website and turn Early releases off. After that, install one of the stable builds of the Dropbox application. If…
-
Hey @"aave", keep in mind that if the .lock files are saved in a specific folder, what you can do is try ignoring the parent folder, instead of individual files. Other than that, there's not much that we can do on our end, I'm afraid.
-
Hey @"7rjames3", let's jump right into this! You can double-check the app's preferences right here, and see where your Dropbox folders is syncing. Based on everything you've provided my way, it sounds like it's syncing on the first location that you mentioned, but it doesn't hurt to check. From there, you can then delete…

Hi @"d0nauk1nd", welcome to our Community! If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you used camera uploads to sync content using your mobile app. With that being said, it's not entirely clear if the files got uploaded on a different format when you used your Android device, or if they never got uploaded after you…
-
Hey @"Rinconman", I just sent you an email, I'll be happy to see you there!
-
Do you think you'd be able to send me a few screenshots, in order for me to also have a visual of this @"mouwe5"?
-
Hey @"Spacedout3", thanks for posting here! Would it be okay if I reached out via an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this? Thanks a bunch!
-
Hey @"aave", welcome to our Community! I'm not entirely sure we have a way to ignore these files, especially since they are created each time you open the app. It sounds like the Nvidia app files are causing that to happen. However, it doesn't hurt to have a look at our ignore feature, and test to see if this works out for…
-
Hi @"nictansl", I just sent an email to your Community-linked email address. I'll see you there!
-
Hi @"crabcakes", let's see what we can find together about that! When you say that you no longer see the Dropbox icon on the menu bar, are you talking about your small Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi or the bigger one on your menu bar that re-directs you to your Dropbox folder in Finder ? It might sound trivial, but have…

Hey @"carlitobklyn", happy April 1st, let's jump right into this! Can you check the referral status shown here, and let me know what it reports? Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
-
Sure thing, @"abcd10"! Take as much time as you need, and let us know of the outcome!
-
Hey @"Rinconman", thanks for posting here today! Keep in mind that a file or folder with no icon means that it has been opened either by double-clicking or through a third-party application and synced. So, essentially this is normal for folders, no icon means there is at least one available file in the folder, but no…
