Do you see a 'make available offline' option, when you right click on these files? If so, can you click it, to see if that helps?

The thing is that Dropbox does not alter your files in any way, so if the file previews correctly on Dropbox, perhaps this has to do with the media player you're using to play the video? Sorry to see you're having this issue too, @"kheberg". Are you seeing this behavior in the Photos tab as well? If you open your camera uploads folder do you see the same thing? How about the actual metadata of the photos, when you open them and tap on the [i] option?

I'm afraid that if these files are within the Documents folder and you've chosen to back up this folder to Dropbox, they will be backed up as well. There's no way to specify which folders to have backed up within a backed up folder at this time.
