Hey @"bocoo", sorry to see you're having this issue. Which version of the Dropbox app are you using and what's the sync status? You can see that by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray.

Hey @"Melissa11", sorry to you see you're having this issue. Did you happen to try what @"ccowap" suggested that worked for them, to see if it helps you too?
-
Hey @"adrian29630", thanks for the screenshots here. This clarifies the situation indeed, as it looks like you've been invited to add a shared folder to your account. Shared folders give you edit permissions, so they are added to your account, thus taking up your space. If you just need to view the folder, this person can…

Hey @"jxrgen", disabling the Dropbox system extension, will just no longer allow you to use the 'make online-only' feature. Syncing will otherwise not be affected, nor will you need to do this every time you use Dropbox.

Hey @"Jeff Marks", sorry to see your syncing icons are missing from your Dropbox folder. What is the sync status and version of the Dropbox app on your computer? You can hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, to see this info. Are you also missing context menu items (Dropbox right-click options) from the files in…

Hey @"RogerLin", thanks for bringing this to our attention. .txt files are definitely supported, so could you please try again from a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps? Let me know how it goes.

Hey @"jxrgen", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. To disable this feature, first you need to make sure that all your files are switched to 'available offline' Once you've right clicked on the files and chosen 'make available offline' for everything, you should be able to disable the Dropbox system extension.…

Hey Sarah! Jay is actually referring to the storage space of your device, not your Dropbox account. If you go to your device's Settings > General > iPad storage, do you see that you have at least 500MB of space available there?
-
Sorry to jump in here, @"Matthew G.11". Are you using the Email app on your iPhone, or a specific email app, like Gmail, etc. to send your emails?

Thanks for your reply, Brian. We do appreciate your feedback on this, and I will make sure to pass your comments along to our devs team. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hey @"MSDinFL", how are you today? Is it possible that there are a lot of icons in your menu bar and Dropbox is hidden? If you reduce the number of apps running there, does that bring up the Dropbox icon? And if not, can you try the steps here, to make sure the Dropbox icon is selected to appear in your menu bar?

Hey @"Ace_2920", thanks for posting! When you accepted the invitation to join the Dropbox Business team, were you signed in to your personal account? And if so, do you remember choosing to keep your personal files separate from the team? If that's the case, the process would prompt you to create a new Dropbox account for…

Hey @"dancassidy", thanks for joining our Community! After you create and copy the link, are you opening it from the same browser you're already logged into? That might the issue here. Can you copy and open the link using a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if it works? Keep me posted.

Hi there @"washiewash", thanks for reaching out to us. I'm assuming that you're referring to a Dropbox Sign subscription, correct? If you've followed the steps here and couldn't see an option to cancel your Dropbox Sign subscription, you might be signed into the wrong account. In any case, though, can we reach out to you…

Hey @"Jhood89", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community today! You'll actually want to follow these steps below, to resolve this issue: * Uninstall Dropbox. * Rename your existing Dropbox folder (the one in D) to "Dropbox (old)" or similar. * Reinstall Dropbox and select the location that you want for the Dropbox…

Thanks for the update here, Edouard. Can we actually reach out to you via email, so we can look into this internally?
-
Hey @"ace5", thanks for reaching out to us. Apart from what Mark mentioned, if the person who invited you to the folder is not planning to invite you to the team, they can send you a link to the folder instead. A shared link will give you view-only access to the folder, which will not affect your own space. And if you need…
-
Hey @"nis1", thanks for sharing your feedback here. If you installed the Dropbox desktop app on your computer and the installation was complete, you should now have a small Dropbox icon in your system tray. Also, you should have a Dropbox shortcut on your Desktop that will open a Dropbox folder in your file explorer, with…

Hey @"Brian Battles", have you recently started seeing this behavior, or has it always been the case when playing audio files on the Dropbox app?
