Welcome to the community @"NPT54" what does the popup say? can you take a screenshot of it? Any additional info you can provide would be helpful in getting this solved for you

Thanks for your feedback @"FrankGaz", although you can search exact terms in filenames, Dropbox search doesn’t support exact phrase matching within the contents of files. Quotation marks are supported for exact phrasing in file names, and you can also use title:"your phrase" to match an exact phrase in a document title.…

Hey @"reginafaye" thx for all the details. On macOS, online-only files can show as 0 bytes in finder until they download, which can cause apps like InDesign to miss linked files. The best fix is to right-click the specific project folder (and any “Links” folder) and choose “make available offline” so everything downloads…

Hey there, welcome to the community @"Thaimax" To get started, can you give us some basic info about your setup? Which version of windows are you running? Are you running the latest version of dropbox? If not, which one? First, click the Dropbox icon in your system tray (near the clock) and check the sync status. If it’s…

Welcome to the community @"pieropiero" I have an Android phone too (Galaxy Ultra) and the instructions work perfect for me. So your difficulty is most likely coming from the fact that you're using a Xiaomi device. On Xiaomi devices (MIUI or HyperOS), widgets can be harder to find because the UI sometimes nests them under…

Gotcha, thx for the additional details. Creating a second Dropbox account will not affect the storage on your original account, so we can focus on what’s still counting toward the original quota. Even if “All files” looks empty, your storage can still be over quota if you’re a member of a shared folder, since shared…
-
Welcome to the community @"Goochman" Your Dropbox account may be over quota (2.65 GB used of a 2.0 GB limit), which can pause syncing and prevent changes until you’re back under the limit. The key thing to know is that other members’ local files do not affect your Dropbox storage unless the content is actually stored in…

Yes this is how the feature normally functions as of now. But your feedback and your use case has been forwarded to the team, situations like this are really helpful for Dropbox to see where blind spots and edge cases may lie.

Edward, thanks for taking the time to lay out the multi-tenant workflow and why it matters. Hearing about all of the unique use cases for Dropbox helps our team make better informed decisions. Your feedback regarding linking multiple business accounts will be passed along to the team.

Update: Just heard back from the team. It sounds like this particular situation with 100+ comments not making the journey is currently expected behavior for Replay. Meaning it is not a bug and is the feature is working as intended.
-
@"JFCruz" Are you bringing all comments from previous versions into the latest version in Replay? Or are these brand new comments from the most recent iteration?
-
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention, I've forwarded this issue to the team to take a look. I don't have any information on next steps or timeline at this moment but will update the thread when I hear back.en Dropbox apt infrastructure relying on unsecure SHA1 Comentario por Dell_Dropbox 19 19UTC February

Welcome to the community @"rmk3500" When you invite people to a shared folder, all members of that folder can see the full member list. There isn’t a setting to hide other members or limit visibility within a shared folder. If you’d like recipients to access the files without seeing who else you’ve shared them with, the…

Appreciate the clarification @"russellan", this is really helpful. We're using feedback like this to help us make decisions on badges and notifications.

Welcome to the community Dave! @"Dave-in-Decatur" It’s usually best not to cancel, since Dropbox is likely stuck on one specific file. First, open the Dropbox desktop app and check for any sync issues so you can see which item is holding things up If it still sits at “283 of 284” with no error, try Pause syncing, then…

Welcome to the community @"fitzLAP" Your Dropbox files are currently online-only placeholders, which can show as 0 bytes on macOS until they download. The quickest fix is to right-click the folder (or select multiple files) in Finder and choose Make available offline. If that option is missing, you can also re-enable local…

Hey there @"CrozierMarchant" welcome to the community To get you connected to support, can you copy this link and open it in an incognito browser? It should help you get in contact with email support. If that doesn't work for you, let us know

Also, in addition to what Mark is saying. Can you see ANY files in the account? Are you sure you're logging into the correct account? With Google Account logins, we often see people inadvertently create and log into accounts and not realize what happened. If you're sure its the correct account. @"EC C." So you want to tag each individual photo within those date folders, so you can later search and filter by team. In Dropbox, tags are applied to files and folders, and each photo/video/document is already an individual file, so you can currently tag each one with things like #leadershipteam or #productionteam on…

@"JB40" Welcome back to the community It makes sense this feels frustrating. If you drag a shared folder into a different location, Dropbox may treat that as you leaving the shared folder and keeping a non-shared copy, which is why sharing can appear to “break.” The safest way to undo a finished accidental move is to use…
-
Welcome to the community @"Mapster12" Thanks for the details, and I’m sorry this has turned into a loop. When a Dropbox Basic account is over the 2 GB limit, uploads and syncing can be restricted until you’re back under quota. The fastest way to break the cycle is to delete files directly from dropbox.com (not just…

It sounds like you’re looking for metadata you can attach to a file or folder to make it easier to organize and find later. In Dropbox, Tags already work this way. You can add tags to files/folders on dropbox.com and then search them in the format #tag_name. Click the link to check it out. If I've misunderstood your idea,…

Hey @"victorvlad", webhook verification only confirms Dropbox can reach your endpoint for the initial GET request. File change notifications are sent as HTTPS POST requests, and they’re only sent for accounts that have actually linked to your API app via OAuth and granted the required permissions (for scoped apps, that…

@"Dgmtexas" welcome back to the community It sounds like your collaborator is either not fully joined to the shared folder yet (or is signed into a different Dropbox account), and the “out of memory” message would be coming from their Windows device, not from your 2 TB storage. To edit and sync a shared folder, they must…
