Hi Megan, Thank you for your response. I'm using a MacBook with OS 26.5.1 (25F80). I have a shortcut to Dropbox on my desktop (see screenshot), and I drop files into folders in that shortcut. Too bad. The reason why Dropbox was so superior to many other services was that folder on the desktop. Even Google Drive allows one to have a folder on the desktop.

There was an update today (10/25/22) and after I did so, the dropbox folder on my desktop has been moved to a "secure" location, but I can't find it on my hard drive.
