Thank you. I agree. Search seems like a basic and reasonable ask among deleted files. If I can search all my files, why can't I search deleted ones?

It took me ages to find a file I deleted the same day! * Make deleted files searchable, not just being able to filter to date and location, but file name or even contents. * Don't put deleted files together in groups or "deletion events". How am I supposed to remember or know…

I also am having the same issue! When I double click a file that's in the cloud the Finder says "The file couldn't be opened." I'm on Monterey 12.0.1 on an M1.

I'm having this issue as well. Tried all these steps and still it's naming it "Andys-MacBook-2" because previously there was another "Andys-MacBook" on the network. I've since renamed the second computer and removed the 2 but Dropbox is still naming the backup folder with it. Can't figure out a solution.
