Hi @"PandaCo", wanted to circle back with an update for you. While not entirely what you're looking for just yet, we are currently rolling out the dynamic filters feature to users on our paid plans in Canada, the United States, and Mexico who are using Dropbox in English. When a folder include a lot of files with unread…

Hi @"Fraisy" - are you using the Dropbox mobile app, or are you visiting dropbox.com in your browser on your iPhone?
-
@"Sparky_McGuffin" that's good feedback! Let me take that back to the team to see what we can do to make these more discoverable.
-
Hi, I'm a product manager on the Search team here at Dropbox. As Jay mentioned, we currently offer boolean operators (see here). Can you let me know if those aren't working for you and confirm the platform you're using?

Hey @"emkep20" , I work on the product team here at Dropbox. If you have files spread across subfolders and want to bring them back to one specific folder, I would suggest trying to go into those subfolders, selecting all the files with the checkbox in the top right corner of the page next to the layout toggles, and right…

Hi @"PandaCo" Thanks for your reply! That's helpful context. We'll take this feedback into account as we look to further build out the filters experience.
-
Hey @"PandaCo" - thanks for sharing this idea! I work on the Dropbox team and am exploring this. If you had a preference, would you like to filter by whether a file has comments on it, or whether a file has unread comments?
-
Hey @"samperinleni" - we believe we've fixed the bug and this should now be resolved. Let us know if you run into issues again!

Hi @"samperinleni" - I'm a Product Manager on the Dropbox team. Thank you for flagging this and I'm sorry you've had to deal with this bug. We're currently working on a fix. I'll report back when it's resolved.

Circling back to this thread. While this wasn't the primary ask of this thread, I did see it mentioned in other comments. In an effort to make it easier to visually differentiate between folders and files in grid view, we've recently introduced folder icons on the tiles that reflect the status of the folder (individual,…

Hi @"Anne V", I work on the product team at Dropbox. Thanks for sharing this feedback! I would love to understand how we can make this a better experience. Can you share more information on how the change has been slowing you down? For example, is it harder to identify your folders due to no longer having icons, is the…
-
Hi @"Rei3e" - we're working on a longer term solution to give users more control over the size of the tiles. But in the short term, would it be helpful if the size of the tiles was overall larger? More similar in size to what they were previously in the large grid view?
-
@"gem0303" Got it, thank you! I'll take this back to the team and see what we can do to give you more control over what's shown on your folders. Regarding better visually differentiating between files and folders - appreciate your feedback here as well! We've gotten similar feedback from other users and are currently…
-
Hi @"gem0303", thank you for sharing this feedback! I'm the Product Manager on the team responsible for this feature and we really value this feedback. To help inform our thinking around this, would you prefer to be able to turn off the collage of previews on folders in grid view for just one folder, or all of the folders…

Hi @"CChesnutt", thank you for flagging this bug to us! Our team is investigating so that we can resolve this ASAP. You also mentioned that you weren't able to disable dark mode on just Dropbox. We're also currently working on a toggle that will allow you to override your device settings to stay on light mode or dark mode.…
