My free Google Drive account shows the estimate time left perfectly, why is it so hard for Dropbox to do the same?

It has been a month and Dropbox with it's silence demonstartes they are just another faceless corporation that dosen't care about their subscribers. I think it's time to start looking for alternatives because a drop in revenue along with loads of bad publicity will be what they need to take us more seriously.

Well "Mr super user", your comment is irrelevant because that's NOT an acceptable solution to any of us paying users!! Until the "estimated time" indicator is returned, my team and I will continue to make lots of noise till a real person from Dropbox responds with an acceptable solution.

I could understand if this was a free service like Google Drive however my company pays a sizeable subscription fee and expect to be consulted or forewarned when changes are made that impact the workflow of our remote employees. We run tight delivery schedules and the removal of this feature is impacting our B2B…

We tried removing the current version of dropbox and installing an older version, but dropbox sneaks in the latest version onto you so you can't win. We are paying a hefty subscription price for this service so bloody fix it and bring back the time left option!!!!

Having the same problem too!! I dropbox video content remotely and need to let my office know how long till everything is uploaded, however I no longer get an estimate of time left for sync to complete.
