Yes, it's a pity. I did the same (moving to icloud drive) last year.

Yes, you're right. Shortcuts access to Dropbox folders is not working right now. Sorry. It seems to be a bug derived from the update to IOS 14. I found several commentaries in reddit forums reporting the same problem. https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/iyvhq2/ipaos_14_how_to_get_files_from_folder_in_dropbox/…

One picture at a time? Or a group?

Hi limbusnl. May you explain a little more? What do you wanna do? And which is the problem?

As we expected, IOS 12.1 update has solved the issue. Now, in Shortcus app, the action “Get File” with Dropbox, woks fine, as it dit in Workflow app in IOS 11. Great!!

Hey, there!! I got fresh news! This morning I reported the issue to Apple support in my country. The very kind man in the phone took note of everything the problem was, and promised he will keep me informed about the evolution. But... best of all... I found a lot of people complaining about the same issue in reedit forums.…

I’m sorry Jay, but the initial question remains unsolved: the “Get file” action in Shortcuts app DON’T returns the list of the files in a given Dropbox folder. With or without the “/“ at the end of the path. The solution given by nuwen refers to the “Save file” action, that works fine.

And very easy to create a new folder if you need it. [removed from Moderators for security purposes] [This thread is now closed by moderators due to inactivity. If you're experiencing a similar behavior, feel free to Ask the Community here.]

Well, from iPad is very easy to do it directly, from the app Photos, taking profit from “Side by Side” and “Drag and Drop” features, both available since IOS 11. Just be sure you have Dropbox in your Dock. I enclosed a video to show you a demo for situations in which the destination folder previously exists. [removed from…

Do you plan to do it from iPhone or iPad?

I have 2 suggestions for you to get visual folder access prior to deploy the photos (or files) there. Both of them display better in iPad than in iPhone, but still possible in both. One is very simple, with just an easy variation on the Shortcut. The other, requires additional software setup, and a little learning, but is…

You’re doing right. Before update to IOS 12, Workflow app and Dropbox did work fine together, and automation in managing files for productivity were wonderful. But now, with IOS 12 Shortcuts app, this kind of automation is not possible with Dropbox. Till a fixing is done, I´ll move my main folders to iCloud Drive ☹️☹️☹️.…

In the first question of my Shortcut (Name the folder) you can enter the entire path. E.g. Horseriding/Summer 2018/Chatanooga It doesn’t matter if it exists or not. In case it doesn’t exist, Shortcuts will create it, and will deploy your pictures in it. Give it a try.

Sorry, I meant Workflow.

In IOS 12 universe you can do it with this Shortcut: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/162cb1357feb4ef0979fd30cfff8d71b This does exactly what you want. In IOS 11 is the same, but called Worflow.
