Anyone heard any more? I've had to renew for another year, the top power server version :( Not really got a choice. At least its stable for now, but its only time before Dropbox has to update.
-
Yes we're using Boxifier already. Just confusing that the reply says DB can do it, makes me think it doesnt need an extra app.
-
Thanks @"Neal" Thats interesting info. Can you clear something up - You can sync files that are not located in your local DB folder? By saying you can sync from a network drive, that suggests you can? Its very confusing!

FYI - Razvan the CTO from Boxifier has now left the company, so I dont expect him to respond on here any more. Got a message via LinkedIn.

Does this info have any relevance here? https://www.dropboxforum.com/discussions/101001016/dropboxboxifier-integration---new-question/859637/replies/860023

I think it works! For a single machine (as in not working from a server, files on single workstation) its an easy fix. Its not a perfect system, and frankly Im pretty shocked that DB havent added this feature over the years, so we dont need to use 3rd party addons. Seems like a no brainer, and pretty simple to impliment.…

Dont suppose anyone has heard from Boxifier? We emailed their founder and had nothing back, and one of our lic's is up for renewal in 25 days, and getting a bit concerned!!
-
So far yes, its working, again! Time will tell, it was about an hour till the update ran I think.
-
Ive now disabled the 2 services that are auto start for the DB updater
-
As I feared, DB updated and has broken Boxifier again, and I do have block DB updates ticked.
-
Took a risk and just installed the older version without uninstalling, and yes it seems to have fixed, but for how long! Thanks guys.

Thanks for the info trying now. But Im more worried that DB will just update itsself all the time, even with the Boxifier block updates ticked (which should have stopped this from happening). I'll report back if this fixed for me!
