Thanks so much for your advice. It's much appreciated. 😊

Thanks so much for your advice! I'll make a note for myself to signing at least twice a year! Does it matter whether the two times must be spread out or not? For instance, signing in in January and once in June, rather than say a month apart?
-
Thanks for the advice. It didn't occur to me to do that. Do I actually need to upload or delete items ie make an action on my account in order to keep it alive, or will signing in alone keep the account live?

Thank you! I am technically challenged and someone had helped me to set up this account when he was making our B&B website page for us. Hence, all those warnings have terrified me that my account might be closed!

Hi again, Hannah! I've found where the notification came from now. It's when I sign in and it's under the bell icon to the top right of my Dropbox account. Thanks for asking. Look forward to hearing from you, Janz

Hi Hannah How do I check the email please? Thanks, Janz

Hi Walter Thanks for checking. These screenshots were taken today, but Dropbox had been nagging me about being over limited for some months now. I don't come onto Dropbox much, but had to use it a little while back, and that was when I saw the usage warning. It was a first time for me! Regards Janz

Hi! Dropbox has been sending me the same message since some while back. I took the screenshot this afternoon. In between, I've not done much on Dropbox. The most recent warning from Dropbox about my storage is today, but I haven't added anything else to Dropbox today. Look forward to hearing from you, Janz

And this one shows how much of my allowance that I've used. Regards Janz

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I just went to check my account again, and it states that "You continue to be above your Dropbox storage quota." I only have Dropbox on my computer. At the same time it says that I am using 2 GB out of 3.25 GB. Do you know whether there is a way to reach out to Dropbox itself to check what's…
-
Thank you! I did what you said and it shows that I am using 2 GB out of 3.5 GB. I therefore can't understand why Dropbox is telling me that I'm over the limit on its site.

Thank you! 😊

Hi Hannah Thank you! Yes, I could access the files. I deleted a few files now. Regards Janz

Hi again Hannah I went back to Dropbox again and was able to get here: https://www.dropbox.com/h?role=personal. I had deleted some folders already before reaching out to people in this forum but I still can not do anymore. Regards, Janz

Hi Hannah, When I clicked the link you sent me, it takes me to a page that says I'm out of space and gives me options for buying space. Regards Janz

Hello Hannah Thank you for your reply. I deleted a whole lot of photos from when it was still live, but even after deleting all those photos, I still cannot access it. I have no idea why. Can you suggest how I cannot in? It's no point my going into Dropbox if I cannot use it presently. Thanks, Janz

Hello Nancy Thanks for your reply. Here is the screenshot asking me to upgrade. Look forward to hearing from you, Janz

Sorry, Jay. I forgot to ask whether I would need to do anything else? I had been under the impression that Dropbox was removing the free accounts. Do I need to pay for the account? Thanks, Janz
-
Thank you, Jay. Your reply was really helpful. So now I needn't worry about Dropbox unless I want to write more.

Hi Thanks for your reply. Here is what I have: If I don't do anything, will I continue to keep my current free account? Thanks for reading, Janz

Hello This message is for Megan and others who have replied to my previous question re the above. I was not able to reply on the thread because the blue box was kind of "grayed out". Thank you for your replies. Does this mean that I can leave things as they are and not pay charges? I only have a free account with minuscule…

Hi Please can someone clarify something for me? I have a free dropbox account but have been sent emails about new charges coming up for various accounts. Can I simply retain by OLD FREE account without signing up for any of the new accounts available? Many thanks, Janz
