Too much time consuming, sorry. That is completely unacceptable for me. Plus, a lot of colleagues are working on multiple files, so I'll be having conflicted copies. Are there any other approaches that we could try?

For some reason the reply has been posted twice… Also, when the Share option is clicked in the menu on Win 11, what sub-domain is being requested? Could you please specify that one? So that I could explicitly add it to the exception list.

I haven't tried full (clean) reinstall. Yet yesterday I've done reinstallation over-existing-app. It reinstalled, re-created the index, but the mentioned bug is still there.

Dear Megan! I am having DB actually used on the web, on Win11-based laptop, and on my iPhone. All the other devices are legacy = old ones, now irrelevant. Indeed I've got an OS-level socks5-proxy. But I tried both with it enabled and disabled, also added dropbox and its sub-domains to the exception list. Result is the same…

Through the web-site, the sharing capability works pretty fine, but the above-mentioned problem is applied specifically to the desktop app for OS Windows. So windows DB app has to be taken care of.

I am having the same issue here! I select a folder (even the one create by myself, i.e. I'm the owner and have full access). Then do right-click — dropbox — Share. And the after a half-second animation all I am left with is the modal window with white rectangle inside and db.icon+word"Dropbox" at the top lefthand corner.…
