Thanks for your reply Jay. But surely enough people work with Adobe + Dropbox that it would warrant a solution don't you think? Having to pause Dropbox everytime I export seems like a bug that needs addressing.

This keeps happening to me. Dropbox randomly decides to make files online-only, and then I find myself without internet and unable to access my own files. This needs to be fixed, ASAP. It also totally messes up long renders (like a video export from Premiere) and created "conflicted copies'. Why mess with an already…

I get it. The issue is that I'm marking files to be offline, and then Dropbox forgets this and makes me do it all over again.

No more green icons, just this new cloud image:

/Users/username/Library/CloudStorage

Dropbox is now constantly making files online-only, even after I've right clicked to make them offline. And in the process of re-downloading them the app is hogging all my mac's resources. Do I need to start looking for an alternative? Every issue I've had has not been resolved, and customer service is being very slow.…

Not sure what you mean by: Is it possible that you just joined the Dropbox for macOS update, where the Dropbox folder must be located in ~/Library/CloudStorage? I've used DB for over 10 years. And my dropbox is now syncing. Not sure what it's syncing

Will this happen every time I restart my computer?

Thanks Walter. I have the latest Mac, and the latest Dropbox, everything updated to whatever is the newest version. And do you suggest going through ALL My FILES and right clicking to make the offline? This seems like a huge waste of time

Thanks Rich. I'm not low on space (and if I were, I'd like to admin this myself). Now, whenever I create a new file, Dropbox uploads it and makes it online-only. Which wreaks havoc with programs like Premiere, which are searching for a ton of linked files per project. Why would Dropbox do this? Why do software companies…

Hi there, It seems the new Dropbox makes a lot of files online-only without me asking it to do so. It is very annoying AND unhelpful as sometimes I work without WIFI. How do I turn this off? It was much better before, where I told it which files where online, and which needed offline access. Thanks

sure!

Hey Jay, The file is being rendered into my dropbox folder (not the Adobe cloud, of course). I don't know if it creates a temp file, but i imagine this is something many of your users do as well (exporting video). Thanks

AND double clicking on it.

Hi Emmet, I've tried both. Clicking on the cloud icon AND context menu -> make available offline Thanks

DB v 167.4.4719 Everything else syncing fine!

Smaller files are fine, and here's a screenshot: Thanks! Fede
