Thanks for the welcome, Megan! I appreciate you passing the feedback along to the team. I’d definitely love to hear how other users handle this and if they’ve found a better balance for their shared folders.

It is a major privacy concern if links stay live after an account is gone. Normally, a full deletion should kill all shared tokens and access points immediately. If these are still reachable, it might be a cache issue on the server side or a delay in the database sync. You should check if the links lead to a live preview…

A dedicated dashboard to track and revoke every link you ever clicked is a basic security need. Right now, it is too hard to keep track of where your data ends up once you open a shared folder. A simple 'history' view with a one-click remove option would solve a lot of clutter and make the platform feel more secure. It's a…

I had a similar issue with links breaking every time I replaced a file in Dropbox. It's a real headache when you share a guide or a demo and then have to resend a new URL just because of a small update. I actually moved away from using static files for this reason. I didn't know this was the rule, and I'm not really happy with it. There's a good chance some useful content will disappear this way. At least they could send a notice.

I haven't had any issues today, hope this gets solved soon.

You can use Uniqode (formerly Beaconstac) for dynamic codes, works great with Dropbox, in my experience. Also, very reliable.
