  • @"control_region" I understand your concerns. I'm not quite clear on the dynamics of what happens locally when logging out, and until then, I'm not sure if I want to proceed, potentially risking my work. It surprises me that there hasn't been an update from Dropbox to address this issue; it seems quite evident that it's…
  • @"control_region" my I inquire whether logging out has resulted in any deletions in the Dropbox folders on the computer? I'm just concerned about the consequences of logging out. Thank you!
  • I have the same issue. Syncing appears to have stopped, and furthermore, the syncing phase doesn't seem to have completed after Sonoma was installed. I tried contacting official support, but they advised me to reinstall the app or log out. I replied that I don't think it's appropriate, as it seems like a silly bug clearly…
  • I added to my DropBox space on my Mac about 60 GB to transfer online. This is the result after 5 minutes 😂
  • I understand what you mean, but honestly, I don't remember modifying those files from their creation until now. So for me, it remains unknown how this image has been modified. However, I think it is useful to emphasize two things. The first is that fortunately, the problem has been successfully resolved. The second is that…
  • Honestly, no changes have been made. None at all. Since the folder was copied there and uploaded online, that file has never been modified.
  • I restored the file to the first version and the problem was solved. Now I can see it normally! Thanks for supporting me. So this means that it must have become corrupted over time. Million-dollar question: how can I prevent this from happening on more important documents?
  • Sure, I'll try to be as thorough as possible. The file is contained within several subfolders. In the folder where the specific file is located, there are many other images. So it is the only file in this particular path. Obviously, the other images work. As I mentioned, I tried to view the file from the previews that are…
  • It is a file of about 368 kb. The dimensions are 1826x2736. I have tried to look at the previous versions of the file, but I cannot view the preview in any case. Thanks!
  • I decided to run a new test because the given solution didn't convince me. So I moved 200 GB onto my hard disk, currently loading onto DropBox at a fixed rate of 2 MB/s (with limitations). The DropBox app tells me it will take 3 hours. However, after doing a quick calculation, it seems that it should take over a week for…
  • Hello @"EDSLTD", I obviously was searching for a different solution. For me it's ok also a low resolution picture, but I need to see it more large as I previously written. For a photographer a simple JPG could mean also 40 MB, so try to imagine your suggestion for 40 images.
  • Yep, I took a look but I didn't find a function that permit to change it. That's fine, I'll try to write to Apple forum, lol 🙂
  • Maybe I didn't explain myself properly because your response seems a bit off-topic. The problem is that the time estimate given by DropBox is not accurate. Perhaps it says that DropBox will finish syncing in 10 minutes, but it's not true. I still see a lot of files and the time it takes is much, much longer. The syncing…
  • On Mac, unfortunately, when the screen goes into standby, the system also stops. At that point, the synchronizations of DropBox stop working. Currently, the only solution I have found is to disable the stop timer and turn off the monitor manually. This way, the system remains active and the synchronization never stops.
  • I think it's necessary to specify that it was actually 1 GB transferred with Safari, but it wasn't a single file. There were about 200 files. The problem probably arose because I think Safari works in a way that puts unused tabs on standby after a certain amount of time. In any case, I think I've given up on the idea of…
  • Sorry @"Hannah", I misspoke. I would like to enlarge this type of preview. The one I can view by pressing CMD + Y.
  • I finally had the occasion to try @"Rich". Unfortunately it didn't work as expected. Trying moving only 1 GB by browser in the way suggested, after 400 MB the upload stopped. I necessarily have to move the files into the directory (already setup as cloud) on the hard disk to avoid any problem. It will be a little bit…
