All of the files are within our corporate account so everyone at the firm has shared access to the same files, but they aren't expressly "/share" like your link.

I'm dragging a Word doc from the Finder window into the Dropbox web folder in Chrome. Does that help? Note that the file is one that was downloaded from the web version into my downloads folder, updated, saved, and then dragged back in to try and get a new version of the same document.
