Yes, my users are seeing this as well. Even with everything turned off. It is not a good user experience! Hopefully there will be a fix soon pushed to the app.

I think the admin guide page I linked also has instructions for enabling/disabling co-authoring
-
I think this has to do with Microsoft enabling "AutoSave files stored in the Cloud by default" in the Office apps (along with Dropbox "pushing" co-authoring in MS365). If you turn that off (and turn on "Save to Computer by default"), then the pop-up will probably stop appearing. This has to be done in each app (Word,…

What happened to the system tray app for this build? When you click on the Dropbox icon, nothing happens. There's no way to get access to settings, etc. (Windows 11, 24H2, Build 26100.3194)

There isn't a response body for the API call, that's the thing. There is no "Data out" tab in Zapier, it just shows the Zapier error for "argument of type 'NoneType' is not iterable" Here is what the logs look like: And the Dropbox API documentation says:
-
It looks like the issue I'm having is that the API request is returning "Null" instead of an "OK" or something like. This is by design according to the API documentation. Zapier doesn't seem to have a way to deal with these API requests at the moment. Have you found a way around that?
-
Did you end up figuring this out? I am also receiving this error, though it seems like the action is successful ("Dropbox folder is shared properly").

Thanks - I see this now, too!

Thanks @"Sam DBX" for the update. On a possible related note, there used to be settings for Zoom with a checkbox for saving cloud recordings automatically into Dropbox. The settings button/link doesn't appear anymore for Zoom, either.
-
Can you clarify what you mean by the "Zoom integration within Dropbox"? Does this still include the feature where Zoom recordings saved to the cloud are automatically copied to Dropbox?

I almost got support to be able to switch our team over, but then they backtracked. Here was the latest reply I received from Dropbox support: "The engineers have followed up and advised that we are not currently migrating any teams to the new Paper version at this time. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a timeframe…

Here is a 404 for the Zoom page in the Dropbox Apps Marketplace (i.e., it doesn't exist anymore):
-
The message you posted is about the same as I received from Dropbox email support (which was shared with me after a standard "can you send a screen recording" request): After careful consideration and evaluation, the Zoom integration within Dropbox is being deprecated. This means that the Zoom integration will no longer be…

There was definitely no email. It's a strange decision, and the rollout is even worse. There are probably ways to automate it with Zapier or Make or something like that, but it would be a frustrating extra step.

I understand that the systems are different, but it's a little baffling that Dropbox is somehow able to move everyone's Google Docs to Google Drive and create new links, but they still can't move their own Paper docs into Dropbox...

I agree 100%. I recognize the "advantage" of using the new add-on framework, but the user experience compared to the extension is much worse. I think top of my list would be the "recent" items list, which is missing from the new add-on. In general, the new add-on feels a lot less "Dropbox-y", which I suppose is part of the…

How is this different from a table?

My colleagues and I are having issues with Smart Sync on this build (I think). When you try to open something that is online only, it says the file is corrupt. When you make the folder local, the files download properly and will open.
