Folders and File names must be of the lowest common denominator for all of your devices and operating systems. Best bet is to have No spaces (just underscore) and NO punctuation and no accent marks in folder_names.

Dropbox normally must install only on your boot drive. So it is your boot drive that must have enough space. Dropbox desktop client must be running. Reinstall with the full-installer.
