Mine still seems to be okay with the burger although I did notice last night when I attached an excel it did attach and then it crashed or disappeared from my email. It was late at night when I was in bed, so didn't think much of it and left it. Just tried now and it was fine with the burger. It's hard to believe a company…

Read back a few replies, I'm pretty sure someone from developer said they spoke to an engineer and it's not being done. Seems bizarre for what must be an easy fix.
-
It sounds like you need new staff as it has been like this for months. If they can't fix something as small as this by now, I suggest they look for a new job
-
I missed that. I can't see it being resolved any time soon as it seems sometime that would not be difficult for them to fix, but it's already been months, so for whatever reason it is, they have no intention of getting it resolved.

It works for me and others, so not sure you are doing it wrong. It's been like this for months now, so I wouldn't expect a fix soon or it would have been done by now. To recap, after clicking to add attachment in Gmail, click the 3 Line (burger bar), that allows you to search the type of file you want to attach, then when…

Read back through the replies. A work around has been posted a number of times.

Paper click > attach files > scroll down to the Dropbox folder > click the right side of Dropbox log which is a little arrow logo

After the paper clip for me. I click the paper clip > burger (3 horizontal lines) scroll down to the Dropbox folder > click on the right side of Dropbox logo
-
The burgers they just refer to the 3 horizontal lines in the top left I believe. So when you are in email and click attach > burger (3 horizontal lines) > scroll to where you have drop box > click to to the right side of the dropbox link where there is a little triangle, instead of clicking on the word Dropbox or logo.…

Sorry, it was a single little arrow pointing right next to the Dropbox logo

I don't use outlook, so within Gmail I click attachments and go to Dropbox, before I clicked on Dropbox and scrolled to the file but now when I click attach and scroll to dropbox instead of clicking the word Dropbox, there are 3 dots or arrows to the right of the word Dropbox, I click that and then go to the file I want to…

Yes, read back. Someone posted a work around which is not so bad, but poor Dropbox have not been able to resolve this within hours.
-
Thanks Larry, it works but surprised a big company like this doesn't have a quick way of contacting Google and getting it sorted out within 24 hrs. Kind of gets me worried about if something more serious happened

I've tried on an old phone Huawei P30 and it works fine. I presume my S22 is on a newer version of Android and not working.

I'm going to have to find another solution if this is not solved soon. I can't live without attaching as most of my files are on Dropbox and I need quick access to them to send to people.
