It works, but, as everyone is complaining about, Smart Sync causes the system to allocate space for a folder or file, even if that folder or file is not actually on the computer. I'm also on 10.12.3 and still have the same issue. While I agree that there are 0 bytes actually on my harddrive, if the system thinks that the file is taking up space, the result is the same -- lack of space.

Hi Ed, Any idea when this problem will be solved. We signed up for Dropbox for business specifically to be able to use Smart Sync. If our system thinks the space is being used, even when it's not, it's a useless function.
