Hi Hannah, I got a email indicating that support was looking into it but no follow up. I think I solved the issue by: 1. Clean uninstall dropbox (as per the advanced reinstall instructions, but I completely deleted all the folders mentioned. Doubt this helped as the folders were mostly empty anyway). 2. Unfortunately, explorer has broken again during the install process. Any suggestions? Is there any way to completely strip dropbox out of explorer?

Fingers crossed, but it seems like an advanced reinstall fixed the issue, though my key folder was `DropboxUpdate` rather than `Dropbox`. The client folders were all deleted. It's indexing now hopefully it doesn't stuff up. https://help.dropbox.com/installs/advanced-reinstall
